This may no longer apply to redlightning01, but if anyone else is having "trouble" with the music pausing for long stretches between tracks, you're not going to find the answer in the readme. Instead check the BetterMusicSystem.ini file in the Data folder, go through it very carefully, and things should become clearer. Like the readme tells you to do, iirc. This mod requires a bare minimum of tech savvy, so if this is really throwing you so badly, then I'm not sure what to say.

I've started running into an odd problem. Every now and then when the music player switches to a new track, a new window entitled "ActiveMovie Window" will pop up, steal focus and subsequently crash Oblivion. Looks like it's part of windows media player. I've stripped the mp3's I'm using of their tags, so it isn't that. Oddly, I think I'm only running into problems when the music player is using tracks from the vanilla music folders.

If anything, it's a problem with the SoundCommands dll, not Better Music System, but I thought I'd leave a note in case you weren't aware. The Enhanced Music dll probably isn't the cause of the problem. I've since tested Enhanced Music with a track that's now consistently crashing Oblivion + BMS (same folder and game state/conditions) without any problems. I can reliably crash the game with BMS in the Imperial City sewers starter area.

FYI, I'm running Oblivion on Win7 x64.

** On a related note, I can also confirm that the SoundCommands dll is causing CTDs on exit.

Any chance you'll be adding more weather induced playlists soon?

As in Foggy, Sunny, light rain, etc

Town Specific musics would be great too

I'm having a problem with the battle music outdoors. I'm outdoors, I just fought a battle, and the battle music faded away. But the battle music fades back in instead of the exploration music, and I can't find any enemies nearby. This persists when I quit and reload.

My BMS INI.
