thy very much Iametrie
if we can manage to create proper regions and some nice locations it will be much better :-)
and I agree ...using a pilotable ship mod is much more fun now..maybe this will bring us some good new ship and pirates mods as well...
cheers

If I get enough of my friends on board, I might be creating the majority of Senchal, the southern harbour of Elswyer, and this is perfect!

Shure, it would be more fun if the regions are edited
with mangrove trees and tropical rainforest at the coast!
But as a Newbe it would be overrating myselve to do region editing.
But I have done a bit of building, quest and scripting work.
So, just give me a mail if you need to have a bit of such work done!

Well, I do like the mod idea still but I have a problem with it. There's no easy way to say this but the thing appears to have incompatibilities with the master files it requires. I stumbled on a very large land tear (covering many many cells in length) which I narrowed down to be caused by the Valenwood.esp file (by loading it in the CS only with its 2 masters for company). The tears only exist like that, no other mods in the works, and the Elsweyr mod doesn't have them on its own.
I first found the tear in -41, -1 (might have been -41, -4).

@adg211288
thx for reporting these land tears...
it is no incompatibility, these cells have not been touched by the Valenwood esp or the Elsweyr esp and that's the reason why I did not know about the problem..there was simply no edit (checked this in tes4edit)
However I found some other bad edits made to different cells ( different location)....removing them solved the problem.
Note !..the CS hightmap editor is very buggy and often does strange edits during working and saving....
new fixed version has been uploaded

Awesome, but looking at the official maps compared to the heightmap picture it does look a little different, the western area should reach a bit more south and a bit more to the west and there are a few other inconsistencies, see here:
