Heightmaps and Elsweyr alone are awesome, but imagine if we had a 100% complete Tamriel!

Hey onra, just wanna say once again that this looks like its gonna be an awesome mod. I'm already planning to build some stuff for your high rock province, any idea when you might be finished generating it?
Anyway good luck with this as i've tried to do what ur doing before (and failed miserably due to landscape tears and other annoying issues).
Can't wait to start modding!

@ ccombaaron
thx a lot :-9
while I am answering here on my laptop , my PC is doing really hard work generating the basic regions for Blackmarsh ...if anything goes well Blackmarsh, Valenwood and Summerset will be released this month, Blackmarsh probably this weekend...then I will continiue with Hammerfell, High Rock and Skyrim...if I concentrate on this and stop modding the imperial legion for a while...this could be march/april...
cheers

First of all.. sorry for my bad english :S
I gave you my endorsemet
This looks really nice, and it is necessary to start a team.. I cannot resist the idea (or dream
) about having an entire 100% playable Tamriel
This has to be the base of a huge project
Try to end this heightmap as soon as posible... I can't wait to start modding

Hey, this a great addition to Oblivion. You are really good at this kind of work. I tried myself last year with various parts of Tamriel but it ended up looking like pure crap. Your interpretations of the Tamrielic provinces are brilliant. Very god work indeed.

@igerup
thx very much :-)
I think it will be really cool with the new Valenwood/Elsweyr map and especially the Summerset Isles released...I have just to create and generate the basic regions ...the heightmaps are already done....then I will look for the northern half of Tamriel....
but I agree ...working with the heightmap editor is a real pain...
regards

Very nice job on this! Can't wait to see some mods that people come up with. The only problem I have with the Black Marsh one is that it looks all of like the Blackwood region, but I'm assuming you already know this and that the people who will be modding it will have the job if making it look Black Marshy.
Also, I think you might have forgotten to add the DistantLOD data under Oblivion/Data/DistantLOD
I think that's the information for like distant trees and distant building and such.
Anyways, nice job and looking forward to the rest of Tamriel!!

@shadowbeast
thx for your comment :-)
for the Lod data...I never provide Lod data with my mods since evrybody should use Elminsters TES4LodGen tool to generate the lod data on its own...its a one click esay to use tool...
for the region (Blackwood)
you are absolutely right...the region should only be a base..and unique stuff should be added by other mods...as well I only use vanilla resources to keep the files as small as possible...
Also Blackmarsh is described very often to look very similar to the Blackwood regions...sharing a lot of the same fauna and wildlife etc...
have fun :-)

@onra
*facepalm* sorry about not reading the installation guide, thats normally not like me. I see now that you had the part about TES4LODGen.
Anyways, back to exploring the black marsh!
