TesaPlus, many thanks for the screenies
Meanwhile I've revised the predominant southern rocks (the massive lime cliffs), and they will be jaggier, even more random, and generally better. They are quite difficult, because their UV maps are overstretched, but ironically they look worse when these maps are rescaled, so there's a lot of guessing about what these rocks will look like in game... Also, smaller rock clusters have received another nice make-up (nice within borked UV maps limits, of course...)

It's fabulous Mac, as I see your images again, I feel satisfied of the view I get in my own game. It's the same. Glad, glad, glad.
Ah, you have shown near view of your textures. Just one thing I saw, when distant from the sea to a shore, I see a rough tilling for the ground, but I'm sure that it's my game settings, I hope because if it's the case, I just have to set it on the right way. Or maybe it's the same with other gamers.
You made a so great work, believe that I'm shy to talk you about that.
Edit : Sorry to have bored you with that... the problem of the tiling is due to the ''ugridstoload'' in the ini file... I changed all settings in the file and all is ok now. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Oh, I'm happy to hear that you've sorted it out. One of my priorities was to make these textures as smooth in the distance as possible, so I was quite worried that something's off. Of course, some textures are smoother than others - and I know that I could edit mipmaps, but I haven't got the tools (apparently a Photoshop plugin can do it, but PS is just too expensive, and I'm not going to use any pirate stuff). But I hope that I'll find a solution to eliminate any remains of harsh tiling in the end.
Thanks for kind words
