Thank you very much Denny and Tesa+
It's people like you who make modding (or creating in general) a real pleasure.

Image --> Muddy Comparison 03
-- 2 triplets of screenshots, each scaled down from 1920x1080 to 480x270
U = Ubanga, W = Watch Your Step
The first two lines are made with bare Vanilla lighting. The third line shows W as it appears in my game; I use the FXAA Injector with a saturation probably slightly weaker than Boris' ENB.
-- JPGED at 85% => 280kb
I was about to write something nice, like "this mud looks ... urgh ... perfect", when I realised that this texture (as well as the sand in 12) is probably the one maczopikczo is going to remove. I am preparing an online petition, see www.savethemud.org ;-)
Now I am curious how the new mud looks like. 8-)
EDIT: And it's about the sand in 12, isn't it. I guess it is made
for the the white shores in Lavadia (looks good there).

I'm forever grateful for your images Tesa+
I'm sure they help others decide whether they're interested in this retex or not.
As for the mud texture, you don't have to worry
It's the same skin but with added mounds and bulges so that it seems like these patches have more volume. White sand looked okay in Ubanga (mostly), but in Cyrodiil it's often seen next to mud and the transition between these two was a bit too sharp. I made it look slightly darker, brownish, and made a completely new normal map. Hopefully you'll like it even better.
Hopefully this weekend I'll upload a small update with recent changes and additions.

The tiling effect revealing itself in the 2nd column makes maczopikczo unhappy.
@maczopikczo: In the image you commented on, this texture looks rather brownish; that's due to the higher saturation and the sundown; it's really the one shown here.
EDIT: Don't forget to delete the file when you're done. People shouldn't think you're proud of it while it's a bug report, sort of.

If this little I do helps, I am glad. Hunting deers, hunting textures, where's the difference. Should you ever want me to look for specific textures, please send me a list.

Exactly
I'll keep your offer in mind. It's too attractive to let it go
BTW. Even if eventually it turns out that the only two persons using these textures are you and Denny, that makes me happy because it's utmost pleasure sharing them with you. As you're already so involved in this process, please, let me know if there's anything you'd change - let's make this retex tailor-made especially for you two

Believe it or not, this is great news, actually
Because it's just a leftover from some initial tests and will be corrected anyway.

** In the upper left corner there are actually ice crystals sparkling in the sunlight. It's hard to keep my joy about that under control, so: That's double-plus-good.
( Of course in the capture it is just white points. Can't be helped. )
** upper right: I couldn't figure out the grass texture, perhaps it is alimal's choice? It is good as it is, I think.

Heehee, I'm happy that you've noticed the sparkles. I was giggling just like you when I came up with this little gizmo
As for the grass, yes it's Al's choice, but all snowy terrain will be revisited and completed as the days in RL grow hotter ;P
Ah, this snow texture is actually a slightly modified Lougian's Morrowind texture with my own normal map.

Geez, I feel so bad about not uploading v02 yet. But there's always a little touch I'm adding here and there...
