Hi!

After some considerable computer issues, I decided to reformat and clean install everything.
I never played Morrowind (because I didn't know about the mods that would have made it better)...
But now that I see my earlier issues with the game can be addressed (and because I am now a fan
of anything Oblivion/Elderscrolls related), I want to give this game another try.

I just bought the goty edition, and am in the middle of playtesting mods for it. After I know what mods I want,
I will reformat/reinstall everything (Windows XP, Office, Oblivion and Morrowind, possibly NWN2 and Sims2).
After my reinstall however, I will be going offline, and will no longer have internet access on my computer
(due to overwhelming internet issues), so I am asking for your advice/recommendations because I won't
have the leisure to search and playtest a gazillion mods over a several month period (like I did with Oblivion).

Below are listed the mods that I like so far ... (I have only looked at mods available at TesNexus) ..........
If there is a mod that does the same/similar/better that you think I should consider instead, let me know.
Also, if there is a mod that is particularly glitchy/incompatible listed, I'd appreciate a warning. Thankyou.

Doll mods:
The Face Compilation
Better Bodies
Hilgya the Seamstress (my fav outfits, I hope to make them wearable over my armor)
Gothic Attire Complete (for the thigh high boots and matching gloves)
AnOldFriends Undies (for the leather bodice, which I plan on making armor in the CS)
Mainframes Backpacks Final (because a pack just makes sense)
NoGlo File (I dislike flashy glow/magic effects, not sure how ini changes affect other things tho)

Leveling Mods:
Shakti Book of Secrets (there is too much to know/remember, lol)
New Linora's Leveling Mod (I dislike skill watching, but luv peak leveling)
Less Aggressive Critters (c'mon agro-rats? Pfft.)
-Considering-
Marksman Overhaul (do the marksman/bow/arrow/vendor stat changes work well?)
(I actually plan on making a special bow using the bonemold mesh because I never found one I liked.)
(If you know of a bow that is simple and elegant, wooden or blackish, nicoroshi-esque, let me know.)

Environment Mods:
Time Mod (I may use the real-time setting, unless there is a quest-reason I shouldn't?)
Real Signposts (I really appreciate this sort of touch, concerned about compatibilities)
-Considering-
Morrowind Comes Alive w/ patch (concerned about compatibility with other environmental mods)
Better Sounds w/ patch (concerned about compatibility with other environmental mods) -OR-
Ambient Town Sounds (concerned about compatibility with other environmental mods)
The Morrowind NPC Makeover (concerned about compatibility with other environmental mods) -AND/OR-
Children of Morrowind (If I can find a copy, concerned about compatibility with other environmental mods)

Uber Mods:
-Considering-
Ring of the Daywalker (to possibly play a vampire w/o changing my face/head)
(Is this a questbreaker? Is a daywalker a quest-reward/result in the game?
If so, are there other mods that would do similar w/o the Daywalker status?
If I play a vampire, I don't want to look like one, or be shunned for being one.
I know that's how the game treats vampirism, but it isn't how I enjoy playing it.)
Is there another option for vampiric subtlety (not appearing to be a vampire)?

So, what other mods should I check out or use instead?
Are there any map/ui mods that make a pleasant difference?
Are there any environment mods that add visual flair/items?
What immersion/realism mods would work well with these?
Any other notable mods worth mention? Thanks in advance!!!
