I would like to replace my character's combat voice sounds (such as power attack, "heeeyaaa!" etc) with custom files.

However after unpacking the bsa files, searching my directories, etc.  I cannot find where I would put them.

Can someone tell me where male default combat voice sounds are?

thanks!

They're organized by race, e.g. for Imperial males the default is \bsacmd\out\sound\voice\oblivion.esm\imperial\m.

I found them, in all thier ugly, ear-grating nails-on-a-chalkboard glory.  I can't wait to replace this godawful voice acting.

Thanks very much!

I don't suppose you'd happen to know where Skyrim's files of the same type are?  I'm browsing the archives now and there are about 800 bajillion files there, and I"m not even sure I'm looking in the right place... in the "voices.bsa" files but there are just too damn many :P

Place your file in \Data\sound\Voice\Oblivion.esm\[race name]\M for vanilla or \Data\sound\Voice\[plugin name]\[race name]\M if you race is from a plugin that use a specific race voice.

The attack voice files start with generic_powerattack.
