I am getting the dreaded "failed to load snowflake: meshes \BM_Snow_01.nif" mesaage when I install this mod.  Even when uninstalled, that message keeps appearing.

I do NOT have Morrowind in on my C: drive.  It is on my E: drive, where all my games reside.

I have a clean install of morroinwd also on that drive, where I keep my clean install to copy and paste over to my Morrowind folder.

My process:

I copy and paste the clean install to my empty Morrowind directory.

I copy my MGSO (v3.0 Final) files to that directory.

I run MGSO

I run Morrowind.  Loads up as it should.

I add Emma's Nord headpack.

Message appears: "failed to load snowflake: meshes \BM_Snow_01.nif"

Uninstall Emma's headpack.

Message appears: "failed to load snowflake: meshes \BM_Snow_01.nif"

Start over from scratch.

I realize the creator is probably no longer active (linked website gets a 404 error). However, the front page is located here: http://lovkullen.net/Emma/

I was just curious if this has happened to others.  The reason I like this mod is for the male nord with the short, neat graying beard

OK.  Emma's Headpack is NOT causing this.  I played last night with NO extra mods installed but the MGSO mods.  Tried booting up Morrowind today and fgot the exact same messge.

Sorry for any confusion.

I remember having this error message! :-) This is often caused by loading Tribunal and Bloodmoon in the wrong order. Another problem you may be having is not loading Tribunal and Bloodmoon at all, and then trying to load MGSO. If you don't have the expansion packs, just get Vurt's Trees, Better Bodies, and a texture pack individually instead of MGSO.
