well 4 thouse who know about the boots of blinding speed there is now a way 2 use them without the blindness when u r about 2 put them on turn up brightness on tv or mon then change it back after u put them on the effect should only leave u with a darkend screen

Night eye helps, but you can eliminate the blindness if you make a 1-second 100% magic resist spell and cast it just before you put them on. The speed remains, but no blindness. Or, if you're a Breton, a 50% magic resist spell will be enough.

Lol, do you think the designers had that in mind when they created the boots?, or do you think it's just a awesome glitch?

That still leaves you semi-blind. If, however, you play Breton AND wear the Cuirass of the Saviour's Hide (+60 Resist Magicka) then it's problem solved.

One thing I like to do is have Galbedir enchant an Exquisite Belt with Levitation. I can usually get 1-3 points Constant Effect on it. While that in itself isn't very fast, when combined with the Boots it's my preferred means of travel.

there are easier ways to avoid the blindness than changing your screen settings. lol. grab a lockpick and go to Tel Fry, grab the Cuirass of Saviors Hide, then go to Dagon Fel and grab the Ring of Pynaster. problem solved plus you have some new way cool items.

[i] umm u can make the boots of blinding speed not blinding by makeing a spell Resist magika 100 percent on self and wala not blinding
