edit: and it dosent work togheter with ENBs. just so you know.:)

some personal experiences after dealing and testing with the oblivion memory problem over a long period of time:
1. the purger-tools (this tool here or the cell purger) are a very effective instruments decreasing the crash rate in oblivion significantly.
2. i recommend to combine one of them with the 4GB patch and the stutter remover mod which all three together provide the higest stability with a heavily modded game.
3. the memory purger here is a very good compromise for lesser stuttering and good stability.
4. if your game still crashes (probably very heavily modded) I recommend to try the cell purger which automatcally empties the memory after each cell change.
if you have a fast system with ssd and a lot of ram this is (imho) the solution which offers most stability with slight stuttering during cell change.
and do not remove stutter remover, it helpes solving the stack-problem! you really need all 3 components for higest stability and less stuttering.
5. if the game still crashes too often then you must reduce appropriate ini-settings like ugridxxxx and so on.
6. to check effectiveness simply put the task manager in front and plot the ram-size of the oblivion.exe. crashing occurs, when the size is near or over 3 GB and oblivion tries to load a big amount of new data (e.g. outer cell change, or loading a save game). the purger prevent oblivion.exe going over the 3 GB limit using different algorithms and depending on the complexity of scenery to load. if oblivion.exe grows up to 3.3-3.5 GB you have to prepare for the next crash! (assuming 4GB patch is already installed)

well put. I would say your text summorize my experince.
I do however wonder how you get Oblivion to use more than +3gb? Ive only reached 2.3gb with a heavily modded Oblivion (folder is about 24gb).

I tried several versions of this so far. With version 1.2 my UI was disappearing right after loading into the game unless I had OBGE installed. I would uninstall OBGE and my UI would disappear, install it and everything was fine. With version 2.0 my UI would randomly disappear after 10-15 minutes of game play. Are there keys mapped to the keyboard? Because if so, I may have toggled something on accident.

In version 2.0 I see you put an item in the inventory, when I use it without OBGE installed it makes my UI disappear. The item can be dropped out of inventory and has no mesh. Perhaps you should make it a quest item.

I have a heavily modded game, at least as far as graphics mods go, and running it on ultra high settings. My game was crashing fairly often but it seems just changing the "heap" settings in Oblivion stutter remover stopped that. But I am interested in this mod...

Please let me know what is going on with the disappearing UI issue. I have been modding bethesda games for years now and I'm pretty good at trouble shooting. Here is my load order below if it helps. I have OBGE and your mod removed temporarily until the UI issue is resolved. Thank you, I will be watching this mod closely in the future to see how things work out. Endorsed.

Have you the AA enabled ingame or forced by external tools?
Obge and AA have conflicts.

What type of hud are you using? Vanilla or modded one? I don't see a hud replacer. So i think vanilla. Can you try my hud (i use the hus status bars by theniceone) to understand if the problem is with the vanilla hud? Because i am not able to reproduce the problem.
