That looks very nice! Can I ask how long it took you and if you used any tutorials? :)

In response to post #13626275.

Thank you :) Something around 45 minutes to sculpt it and a half hour to texture it, I think. No tutorials !

Nice job Lougian but I have to say.

Calling this an iron club is liking calling skimpy daedric armor "heavy armor."

It has an interesting, organic look to it because of the method you used to make it, but you probably know that Zbrush is not the ideal tool to model weapons. It ia great for iregular shapes like the wooden parts or the grip here, but you see that on the metal plate everything is very distorded and looks quite messy. Besides, you probably get a lot more polygons than are needed, although it is difficult to see on the Screenshot. You probably decimated the mesh before you exported it, right?
Also, but this may be due to the perspective, but the shape of it seems a bit off... the head looks too small in comparison to the grip. And you need a heavy head on a club to hit really hard.

By the way, have you seen my texture replacer for iron weapons I recently released? It contains improved meshes (which were not made by me but are taken from Psymoniser's Iron Mesh improvements), and includes the iron club as well.

In response to post #13695547.

Yeah I know but I'm not very familiar with blender yet.
As for the polygons, yes It has too many and not enough on the metal part, but well as I said it's a first try, I'll try to make it better later.
I have see them, I began myself to do something like that a few months ago
Here is the iron club : http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/images/1074/?
It's just the vanilla one with more polys and modified UVs.

In response to post #13695547. #13697123 is also a reply to the same post.

Well the one from my mod is also an improved version of the iron club, as well as the other ones, too. They are originally made by Psymoniser, as I said before, and contained in this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/34844/?
It is very similar to the one from your screenshots.

And by the way, I have recently begun working on a similar mod for the steel weapons, that means improved meshes which are faithful to the original design. Once they are finished I plan to create new textures for them, too. You can see and download what I made so far in this thread: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1496399-wipzrelz-improved-meshes-weapons/
