Hey all.

I was looking at some of the armour mods and one thing struck me: There are no sets that feed on the blood of others OR the player. Well this is an idea I came up with:

The full set of armour, Helm would be optional, would be very shiny and silver, with a red glow to it. Nothing obvious, but the hint would be there.

When it is put on thousands of tiny barbs would dig into the players flesh reducing his maximum health by 50%. It then starts to drink the players blood until combat. The longer it feeds the more it drinks. So for the first hour it takes 1hp per ten minutes, then doubles the next hour, then doubles the next hour, and so on until the player either goes into combat or dies. The player can not heal by any means and his regeneration is put on hold. Also it cannot be taken off without killing the character (again the helm is optional).

That is the detriments taken care of. Here are the benefits.

Once the character enters combat he uses the health of the armour and not his own. The armour has ten times the health rating as the player. Each time the player hits the target the armour drinks the damage done and heals the player of all the previously lost HP and itself: Vampiric Regeneration basically. Wielded weapons would not allow the armour to drink, it has to be unarmed. If the player kills the target the armour drinks their soul and this can sustain the armour for 24 hours per level of soul. Black souls give twice the duration. Also the armour allows the character to hit unarmed with the same force as his best weapon (must be marked in the players favorites). And one final thing, every time the character sneaks he turns invisible and becomes silent.

Without all pieces of the armour worn only the detriments would apply.

Anyway, I hope someone picks up on this and makes it as I think the game really needs a parasitic object or two (hundred).

You sir haven't seen the Lustmord Vampire Armor. It does feed on blood, but it only boosts the armor rating.
