Please feel free to discuss anything you feel may help me diagnose the menu lock-up issue.

As far as I know from using her, she used to glitch all the time whenever the 'Guard' option is involved.

When I go and get Jessi again, the first option 'Let's Move out' potentially causes the Menu Lockup/Freeze a few minutes later, regardless on what you do next.
Funny enough, No sound file played anyway when I picked that option.

The workaround I use now still works for me, and it's simply to just ignore the first option and choose the second whenever you need to get Jessi from Guarding.

So she no longer bugs for the both of you?

Yeah, there wasn't a time that she froze by any other way.

But she'll still bug if the first option was chosen by accident. It's personally better than doing the enable/disable solution which loses her repair level.

Hopefully others can confirm that it's also working for them as well

There should be something with that part of the code as to why it glitches. Try narrowing down the search at that part of the guard code.

I've been following XSoldier's advice for some days now and I've never seen the bug again. Still, I wanna make some more testing before coming up to a conclusion, I'll see to make some intense tryouts tonight and try to summon the bug and I'll post back with whatever I find out.

But so far, yep, XSoldier seems to be right on the money.

Nexus should have some kind of award for "bug hunter of the month" or something =D

Hmmm... I've been playing for a couple hours last night and I told Jessi to "Guard here" followed by the first option in an attempt to intentionally trigger the bug, but it didn't appear even though I tried about 20 times. Damn it! >=(

Loxy did say that it happens randomly.

maybe after getting her out of guard, try and go through at least more than two areas without speaking to her. First time I encountered it, that's what happened during the time.
