rockyJ9
Well at current I have the 1.9 version of Skyrim Legendary Edition. (Dawnguard, Dragon Born, Hearth Fire, and 3 High Res' Texture Packs). I've been running into this CTD error for about a week now and I've tried everything from disabling all the DLC to applying new compound to my heat syncs. I'm running a HP Envy dv6, AMD A10-4600, AMD Radeon HD 7660G, Windows 8.1 Laptop that I've personally overclocked. I know that this version of Skyrim utilities 4GB of RAM, so I don't need a patch in those regards. I've also a 14GB SD card that I've designated, 4GB of, as external ram; Bringing up my total ram to 10GB. So.... Can anyone think of a reason for the CTD Error that I'm not thinking about. It's not performance, cause when it does run, "Ultra" is no issue. I've begun to pull my hair out. O.O ooh yea. I have no mods, the CTD error is very random, and I've even tried entirely new characters.
Skyrabbit
I recommend getting the unofficial patches (uskp) for the game and your DLCs. Here-http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19/? Even if you have lots of memory Skyrim does not always manage it well. Have a look at this. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649/? Also have a look at the second link at the bottom of my post. Lots of useful info!
