I just got Fallout 3 a few days ago and when I first started it ran fine after I did some standard fixes to the .ini file. The game was fun and ran pretty well, ctd'ed after a few hours but it wasn't that bad and ran alright when I started it up again.

I decided to spice things up by installing a few mods. I went with the Nexus Mod Manager (as FOMM didn't seem to get along with FOOK very well when I tried it) and downloaded a few mods and now I'm lucky if I make it past the loading screen when trying to start a new game.

I've done everything I could think to do. I deleted my old save, started a new game, checked the load order, checked mods for incompatibilities, uninstalled everything and tried again with a clean install. At one point (before I uninstalled and reinstalled everything) I made it out of the Vault but crashed after leaving Springvale and heading either in the direction of Megaton or the school. This was after I got rid of a few things that I can't fully remember. However I do know that the mods I have now were the ones that "worked," with the exception of one or two. Now I can't even make it into a new game. I'll get a few second of loading screen and then the game crashed.

I don't know if I missed something so I was hoping that maybe some people with experience would notice if I did something wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(I have Fose and InvalidationInvalidated. Just thought it was worth mentioning.)

Delete all in red. "(0) " or not. remove them from the data directory, you don't have the supported software for these.

I deleted all of the .esp files you marked and uninstalled UF3P but there wasn't much of a change. It took a little longer before the game crashed, but I still didn't even make it past the loading screen.

Also, the checkboxes for the RobCo mods didn't disappear. I checked the folders and their .esp files were deleted, yet they still showed up.

Your game will continue to crash until you uninstall and delete these:

RobCo Certified v2 Impervious FWE.esp=0

RobCo Certified v2 EVE.esp=0
RobCo Certified v2 FWE.esp=0
You do not have Fallout Wanderers Edition (FWE) nor Energy Visuals Enhanced (EVE). Both of these mods are required masters for the compatibility patches.
Did you uninstall the patches before your deleted the files?

The compatibility patches have not been deleted, only de-activated. You need to completely uninstall and delete the patches. They may be inactive, but the files are still loaded in memory when the game is started.

I uninstalled every mod, uninstalled NMM, reinstalled the mods, went into the files, deleted the incompatible .esp files and reinstalled NMM. The incompatible RobCo .esp files are still showing up. Is there a step I'm missing for getting rid of them?

Nmm, does this, it ties in all the data, It is not like fomm, when you delete a file in fomm? it is just plain gone, and not in any recycle bin.

Nmm keeps all files , stashes them away ,and if any thing you have installed requires them, even if unchecked, these will always load.

Nmm, has peculiar attributes that defy understanding. it is a mod installer uninstaller, so, keep that in mind.

+ data once ran due to these mishaps is still in your saved games structure, you will be required to roll back to a point where these mods have not been enabled before the crashing subsides.

I swear... I mean I really swear ,I can make that horse drink, he starred at me, giant black marbled eye's, looking at me while I tried to convince the horse he needs water to survive. I yanked on the reins and pulled him into the river, knee deep in the water, still can't get the animal to drink .I wonder why that is?

please select another type of installer program ,give your self an opportunity to remove doubts. download manually and install the old way and see if the bug persists. we are only trying to figure out what's wrong ,we are blind here, but we do know what your doing so change what your doing and see what takes place.
