Frozentalons Posted April 21, 2014 Share Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) Hey, i just installed skyrim again a couple days ago, i downloaded my basic mods -Climates of T.-Realistic Lighting without PP-Realistic Lighting Overhaul-W:A.T.E.R-Enhanced Distant Terrain-Skyrim Flora Overhaul-Frostfall-Cloaks of Skyrim-SkyUI-YY Anim Replacer Mystic Knight So the thing is, i get a incredible framedrop in certain areas (only outside, not in interiors) when im in 3rdperson I try to explain it with an example At the Magecollege, when u want to leave it you have to take this long bridge right ? so and at the door between the bridge and the college i get a framedrop to i think 0-5 fps for 2 seconds or something, and its not a loading problem i guess caus if i enter this spot 2 seconds later the framedrop is still there, if i go to first person and go the same way i dont get any framedrops. Also when i run arround in the world i get this framedrops, example in this little village right after you leave the dungeon in the beginning where you meet this women, when im near the water at a certain spot i get this, but only in third person. Georgiegril Posted April 21, 2014 Share Posted April 21, 2014 Are you using BOSS? Did you take care of all the messages in the BOSS log? It looks to me like you may simply be overextending your resources.For example, the area outside of the Mage's college has a huge view distance, and the reflectivity of the ice and water can also push up the demands on your system. Have you made changes to your prefs.ini or .ini files? What graphics settings are you using?Did you install all the options on graphics and texture mods? You may simply need to configure your mods to be less demanding, pull back your graphics settings and/or your ,ini settings. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried even the lowest settings with 800x600 without any mods and i get this at the same positions, and if it was by overextending my ressource, wouldnt it be the whole way towards the college, its only 1 pixel where i get this drop, like there is any problems with the engine, caus if i move 1 pixel forward, and i see the f*#@in same things i get no drops, + on firstperson i dont get this drops And no, boss is not working for me, but the fact that i tried without mods should prove that its neither my settings nor my mods. You don't say how much VRAM you have on this >>>AMD FX 8350 Things to check, may or may not make a difference....(SkyrimPrefs. INI or Skyrim.INI)Mouse acceleration (OFF)Game pad (OFF)Vsync (ON) and (OFF) to test.Make sure your Video card drivers are not adding AA/AF on top of the Game AA/AF on Top of ENB AA/AF Check Drivers are not Adding AO.Delete both INI files...run the game launcher to get fresh ones (if you have edits save the INI's first) As Georgiegril suggests (cause we have see this tons of times) it can be that you are overtaxing your system. Heck my game was rock solid in my last Load out, but IF i looked at Fire my FPS would plummet and would stutter bad. Around that area (Winterhold) a lot of stuff is happening ...was it also snowing? IF that's only a 1GB card...yep..overtaxed. Get the UNofficial patches...one for Skyrim and one for Dawnguard. GET BOSS ...lol Sort that, then Post the BOSS log (in Spoiler tags) so everyone looking can see the errors and or cleaning needed.Should (RLO) really have a FULL mod then 5 other plugins?...(the more we question the more we learn..I don't use that but looks odd with that FULL In use).
