No Starting Abilities
This mod changes new character creation, so that the game will no longer assign certain abilities based on class and background.

Ooooo I wish I'd had this when I started my game. Good work.

Hmm, just tried this mod out and while the skills section works fine, for talents I get a third talent point but still have the default talent for my race/class.
----
EDIT: Mod version is 1.2, installed the 1.01a patch. Also using the dexterity hotfix, in a separate override folder (directly in program files/dragon age as per instructions). I have tried it so far on Male/Dalish/Rogue & Male/Dwarf/Rogue

Checked, worked fine for me game version 1.01.
NoStartingAbilities-9.zip (version of mod 1.2)
JoRakhar could you specify your game ver 1.00/1.01a, mod version and characters gender/race/class you picked?

What talent is it still assigning? Is it happening on both of the backgrounds you mentioned?

It's still assigning Dirty Fighting on both backgrounds.
FYI just tried Human Warrior/Dalish Warrior to make sure it wasn't my game and had no pre-assigned talents, so it seems to be rogue-oriented.

At the moment I sort of broke my toolset
But once I get it working again i'll look into the Human Noble Warrior. Thanks!= for the report.

Hm, the human noble warrior works fine for me (ver 1.3). No default skills or talents, 3 of each to pick from.
Are you sure it's installed correctly?
