Ok.
I set up my xp box, redownloaded v1.3, same results.
I downloaded 7zip since it was compressed with 7zip, and unzipped on xp. Same results. not sure why this won't stay open, but being inoperable across 3 different platforms and wildly different build specs can't be coincidence.

The documentation for this isn't very straight forward for any users who haven't used a command line OS very much. If you simply open the .exe file then it is going to close -- this isn't an error... it is running and then closing because it wasn't given a command.

To properly use the erf unpacker, for instance, you need to open up your DOS prompt in Windows by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. Access the folder with the ERF file in it by using the following command: "cd C:Program FilesDragon Agepackagescoretextureshigh" without quotations. Note the file path will depend on your install and OS. Also note the file path I mentioned takes you to the high resolution texture pack folder. From here, if you wanted to unpack, you would throw the daocmd.exe file into the folder, then in the command prompt type "daocmd erf "texturepack.erf"" without the outer quotes. Example commands on how to use the other utilities in these files are in the description.

good tool , i just wanted to say , most folsk don't realize why game companies will build in 3ds amx , yet format ina method 3ds max can't do alone. they don't do this to make hard on modders , nor do they do it jsut to piss consumers off . the real reason they do this is prevent "production time" theft of their models . hell loota game companoes relesed the softwares to convert thier models after the game is out , so mostly this file converting nightmanre theyt do to thier models is jsut to protect thier model while teh gmae is stil being worked on.
