In response to post #16345670.

It's impossible to do it on the Steam Version, at least without installing it for Origin as well.
Just get the key from Steam and activate it on Origin. There is a way to run DAO with increased cap in Steam but it requires to be installed in Origin as well or using a Crack so you would have to install the game twice which is kinda stupid. I'd just stick with Origin for this one.

In response to post #15972010.

Doesn't matter how much you have if the exe is capped at 2GB so you would have to use a 4GB Patch for it to work without problems.

In response to post #14600128.

JB3 is the most complete, but also has the biggest performance hit. Theta HD is very stable and fixes the lowest resolution textures in the game, but vanilla HD content is left alone. HDR Textures is great if you can get it to run, but many people have reported trouble installing/uninstalling it. I'd start out with Theta HD and see if that''s enough for you. If you need more JB3 is probably the way to go.

I love your mod, especially the skin textures are awesome! <3 Your texture works well with my DAO and it looks so nice, no problems after all. Also I'm running all your optional files - included the armor pack. It works fine, but now Alistair has brighter hair than his normal. Usually he has dark blonde hair, but on my game he has bright blonde hair. How can I fix that? I'm sure it appears on armor pack, because I put one by one directory out and test it ingame. His unusuall hair appears only with armor pack. Maybe it's a .dds that overrides his vanilla hair tone?

Thanks for help! And sorry for my really bad english. :(

EDIT

Found the problem myself. The uh_har_0d.dds into the main file overrides his hair textures. Just delete it and it works fine!

I have everything installed properly, there have been no problems downloading or unzipping, and yet no textures have changed. Am I doing something wrong? I'm not using any optional files btw.

Thanks to reative24 for the mod, and kudos to theskymoves for explaining how to exclude the skin textures.

Unfortunately this mod causes too many troubles for a lot of people. I suggest not to install it.
