Whilst I doubht that I will ever be good enough to play through it and win even on nightmare normal let me just say im impressed someone is modding the game but still keeping the changes reasonably in line with how the combat was supposed to be rather than strictly blocking potions ext.

I cant say that ALL changes are "in line". Basicly its general "more damage/less healing" type of mod. It does not change the AI, which is biggest problem so far. But thanks for trying anyway.

For the moment, yes it basically comes down to more damage/less healing. However, I did alter some aspects of the AI, mainly increasing their flanking damage and making them more likely to use abilities and spells.

More advanced changes (but keeping them "in line" with the original mod idea) will follow as I continue the development of this mod and learn more about the toolset and its possibilities. Bare with me and I hope I can deliver you the mod you want this to become

Any plans to balance magic or do we keep our fingers crossed that a patch will come out that fixes for example Force Field so it isn't owerpowered? Plus the fact that you can cast buff spells like Flame Weapon that doesn't run out even if you run out of mana?

Version 1.3 released. Separated the mod into different packages as to satisfy the need of as many Nightmare players as possible.

Nice work dude. Say, is it possible that you make a package with only increase the HP and Damage the enemys do for Nightmare Mode? 30%-50% more would be really nice :)

I was initially planning on adding those changes to the Core package. Still, I could move all changes made to enemy NPC's into a separate "Enemies" package. However, the way the mod works right now, you'd still need the "Core" package for other packages to work correctly.

The Core package includes these changes:
- Base spell resistance for players lowered by 10%
- Trap damage received increased by 33%
- Damage vulnerability increased to 10%
- Healing multiplier reduced to 75%, meaning healing 100hp will now only heal 75hp
- Enemy flanking bonus significantly increased
- Enemy special ability usage increased
- Enemy elemental damage modifier increased from 5% to 10%

So even if you only wanted the changes made in the Enemies package, at least for now, you'd still get the above changes for free as a requirement :whistling:

Updated Items Package to 1.4 (and thus the Full package has also been updated). Fixed the Injury Kit cooldowns not functioning as expected.

Remember to remove all references of Nightmare Plus in your override directory before updating. You can continue your current savegame after updating.

Full Package installations aren't affected by this bug, no need to update.
