Hello! I'm having an issue with Requiem. When I start up Skyrim, it just sits there at the Imperial Logo, and doesn't show any main menu. Not sure if it's load-order related. Just in case it is, I'll post it here. As well, if you notice anything about my Load Order that's off or may cause issues, let me know. (This is the order of my Plugins, which isn't the same as the order for my mods. I don't really understand that, and would also like if someone could explain it)

Thank you!

"This is the order of my Plugins, which isn't the same as the order for my mods. I don't really understand that, and would also like if someone could explain it"

Mod Organizer used the order of your mods to determine which file overwrites another, in case there are conflicts. For example, when you have two mods that change the textures of the same steel armor, the mod loaded last wins. This order is independent from the plugin order, because a single mod can have multiple plugins that all have a specific requirement, like being dependent on another file.

In your case, the Requiem.esp file is loaded very early, which means that all plugins loaded after Requiem.esp can overwrite parts of it. If you take another look at this part of the installation guide, in particular Step 2, you'll notice that Requiem should be near the very end of the load order, only followed by patches, exceptions like Altenate Start and finally, by Requiem for the Indifferent.esp ;).

Thanks for the help! I actually figured out that my load order was strange earlier on and "fixed it" T=though I'm still having the same issue after changing my load order to this:

The load order looks good now, for as far as I can see (I have no experience with most of the mods you have listed). Does MO list additional problems with this load order, like unresolved dependencies or a wrong order of master files? Have you also rebuild Requiem for the Indifferent.esp after re-ordering the load list?

Mod Organizer shows no conflicts, and yes, I rebuilt RFTI after that. I'm still having the issue where upon launching the game (at least that profile, the one with Requiem) it gets to the imperial logo, then just stops. No main menu, no music. It's a real shame.

First of all, you should verify that this is a Requiem issue:
1. Disable Requiem, Requiem patches and Requiem for the Indifferent and see if you reach the main menu.
2. re-enable Requiem, try to reach main menu
3. re-enable patches, try to reach main menu
4. re-enable Requiem for the Indifferent, try to reach the main menu

If the freeze occurs at step 4:
Have a look at this Confluence comment. Also check if your Requiem for the Indifferent.esp has a dependency on Requiem.esp. We saw a very few cases where the patch was missing it as a master and then caused a freeze in the main menu.

1. Disable Requiem, Requiem patches and Requiem for the Indifferent and see if you reach the main menu. (Made it! It worked, confirming it must be a requiem, patches, or indifferent issue)
2. re-enable Requiem, try to reach main menu (Made it! It worked, confirming it must be in the patches or indifferent)
3. re-enable patches, try to reach main menu (Failed, confirming it must be in the patches)
4: Disable some patches, try again, rinse and repeat: Requiem Wyrmstooth Patch was the culprit. Wyrmstooth has been updated recently, and something in its update makes it incompatible with the patch that is currently there. I'll disable both the mod and its patch until it's been fixed.

Thanks for the help!

However, now when I disabled it, and tried to run the Requiem SkyProc patcher, it says that Requiem Resources is missing, despite it being enabled.

Missing master can mean three things:
a. the mod is really missing, i.e. not present in your data folder at all
b. the mod is present in your data folder, but not activated and thus not imported by the patcher
c. the mod is present and active, but loaded after a mod that depends on it

In your case c) is the most likely case. ;) So adjust your load order to make sure that all Requiem - Resources needing patches are loaded after it. SkyProc cannot fix this on its own because your load order is important to determine the conflict resolution, thus it cannot be adjusted by the program without causing potential harm.

Thanks again for all the help. Managed to get Skyrim working, at last. Got to admit, it was a hassle, but it'll be worth it. Now you know that the Wyrmstooth patch is an issue. Let others know if they might have it.
