doesn't work when starting a new game

Do you understand how to install mods packaged as ".dazip" files?

There is no .dazip file in any of the folders. What do I do?

Well, considering they are magical sacks of leather and canvas that somehow enable you to carry half a dozen full sets of armor, enough weapons for a small army and a plethora of other bits and pieces that most certainly wouldn't be able to fit inside the physical confines of such a seemingly mundane object, I'd say it kinda makes sense.

Manually download the first file. It's a .dazip file. You will then need to use the DAUpdater located in "bin_ship" folder of your Dragon Age game. Mine is listed somewhere in the Steam files. Yours may start at Origin or Documents if you can't find it under Steam.

You run the DAUpdater, click and drag any .dazip file you want to install. Click on the ones you want to install and click "Install Selected". If you install them one at a time you can easily check the very bottom of the log tab to see if the installation was successful.

When a mod is installed this way, run the game and select Downloadable Content and go to the last tab. You can scroll up and down to see if it's check marked. Unchecking a box will deactivate the mod.

Hope that helps :)

I manually downloaded the first file and there doesn't seem to be a .dazip file anywhere. Can someone help me out?

It's the same for me. I manually downloaded the file, and it comes as a .zip not a .dazip. I don't know how to fix that.

I found that my browser changed the .dazip file into a .zip file while downloading. I manually altered the extension (under File Explorer's View Tab, there should be an option for file name extensions) then put the file with the corrected extension into DAModder and it started working.
