This mod inspired me to make my own version.. I've replaced all the forms thusfar with golem ( stone, then iron with MS), drake, and Wisp/Sylvan.

I'm running with the idea of "lucid dream"... like you dreamt you were a butterfly, but were you a butterfly dreaming you were a mage?

Endresult being that the forms as I have em now look ghostly. Hurdle I'm hitting is that modelscale x y z in my APR_shapes.2da doesnt seem to work AT ALL so sylvan form is mountain size and that wont fly...

I like this ty. I really hate the bear shape. It's too big and get's stuck all the time and I don't like spiders at all so I am very happy I can be a pretty white wolf now :D

is there really no way to make this work on the npcs without using W or S type models? Almost all of them are H type models and those are the ones that get mutilated by head morphs. Can set them to W and then the body works, but it has no head. Grrr.

I wish I knew a workaround for it. I went through and tested every available creature listed in the APR_base.xls on both Wynne and Morrigan. Out of 89 possible creatures only roughly 15 of them work. All of them work for the main character though. I have all but given up hope of finding a solution. For the time being I released the mod that works for all toons and I will release one that works just for the main character in a couple of days.

Can you re-make the forms from the "fade" in this and maybe add a ogre form?!?! (or w/e those huge minotaur like things are)?

Would be sweet :)

What I am entertaining is at the moment is basically creating 4 different branches or three additional ones. One say for demons, one for additional beasts and one for undead and give each branch a master talent similar to master shapeshifting either with additional bonuses or additional forms.
I plan to make a mod for rangers to, but summoning is a bit more complex as it is handled mainly in scripts rather than 2da files, but hopefully would allow for a greater range of beasts without compatibility issues, or so I hope. Time will tell I suppose. :)

Branches eh? Now thats cool...

Maybe you could brake it down into more catagories too.

Like a nature branches, spiders, bears, wolfs and for a master talent...TREE ENT FORM! :D

Beasts: dogs, wolfs, werewolfs, big ogre form!

Demons, shade forms + desire and maybe the huge thing you fight in the circle tower for a master form :D

Elementals: Skeletons, dragons, darkspawn and golems!

Or something :D!

Having Branches for Shapeshifting and making the forms Usful and pretty powerful (at the expense of not being able to use the other spells) Would make me consider Shapeshifter as a possible Specialization :D
