I also agree for this mod. Stealing in this game has been a small income for me compared to everything else however it was very tiresome to always be successful, never have some kind of encounter because of stealing and lastly waiting so long to do it again. Two thumbs up.

Very nice, I hardly used the steal skill because of the cooldown too. Is this mod compatible with :

?

I have XP and cant find this folders:
"..."My DocumentsBioWareDragon AgemodulesSingle Playeroverride
I guess you need to have the Toolset installed to have them? am i right?
I tried to install the toolset but i couldnt get it installed propper, some SQL stuff not working, whatever, dont want to spend time messing with it at this point anyway.
So is there a way to use this mod without having the Toolset installed? (if its necessary like i guessed)

I will have to test the Respec mod to make sure but there is no reason why it would not be compatible. My mod modifies nothing but the Cooldown value in the game's database. Whatever the Respec mod might do with the Steal skill, it will keep doing with my modification.
Again, I will test and report back.
I changed the description - the mod can be placed in either of the override folders, but since some people do not have the toolset there is no reason to use the module folder.
If you already installed the mod, just move the file and you will be fine.
Edit -- Some quick testing confirms. I have to get back to work and can't do much more for now - but the respecc'ing works fine, as expected. If you notice any issue feel free to report.

The cooldown on it drove me nuts too. Thanks for this.

Nice mod. Here's a question: Is it possible to reduce the cooldown timer only in non-combat situations? Outside of combat this is a godsend, but in combat it really does change game balance and it makes using the tactics settings to automatically steal a problem.

could you make a version with no cooldown for rally/beserk? damn bug is annoying when happening in combat, and you need to wait 30 secs... or if you could tell me where the cooldown timings are, i could try to do it myself. tnx
