Lovely idea! Nothing distracts from cutscenes or dialoge more than floating effects from buffs and auras.
Any thoughts of expanding the list of auras it works with? Threaten and Song of Valour come to mind.
Well done!

Ah, great work. Those auras were really annoying, indeed.
Would be great if you added some more skills, though.

I agree with lunarionsilver. Definitely need one for Threaten.

Awesome mod!
But would it be possible for you to make a mod which removes all VFX from the sustainable abilities?
I do not like them and I think it would greatly improve the fps counter in fights for my new macbook (yeah I am playing games on it...and it works greeat! ^^)
Thank you!

I like the idea of this mod but can you make one that doesn't remove the aura of weapons, only affects sustained buffs?

Mantis231: Sorry, I just bungled into this code while trying to get rid of the super-annoying Momentum aura. I'm not sure how to remove weapon enchantment effects at all.
CHT87: If you're looking to remove a lot of the aura effects, you can use this mod along with Zalzama's Annoyance Remover mod (http://www.dragonage...s/file.php?id=5) to hopefully remove most if not all the aura effects.
Daftshadow: This mod shouldn't effect weapon enchantments at all - I didn't touch any code except for the personal toggles listed in the Description of this mod. If your weapon effects are gone, then either you have another mod (like Zalzama's) or I guess I did something terribly wrong.

Version 2 is now out. Shortens effects for Berserk, Captivate, and Threaten as well as all the effects shortened in version 1.

Very good mod. Cheers from me.
One question: just downloaded the V2 and recognized that the talent_modal.ncs file to install has exactly the same size than V1 (12kb). Shouldn't it be larger? Maybe you uploaded the old version again accidentaly??
And is V2 also including the effect removements from V1? Reads a bit like I have to decide which one I prefer to remove...
Keep up the good work
