The quest Fazzil's Request is obtained from the Denerim Market District Chantry Board once you have the Alienage unlocked.

The quests asks you to find a "sextant." Well, instead of approaching the Chantry Board to receive the quest, i got the sextant first, so i kinda did the quest in reverse.

Now, when i go back to the Chantry Board, the board says the quest is already accepted and stamped. I tried to talk to the chanter Rosamund, but she wouldn't say anything to me. She doesn't interact with me in a conversation.

How am i supposed to finish the quest?

Weird. Did you try putting the sextant away in a container, checking the Board, and then picking it up again?

Honestly, I doubt it will work, but who knows? Then again, you might already have tried it.

Same bug here,and since is an active quest item you can't put it in a box.It seems like the only solution is to take the quest before going to the alienage,also I've looked everywere in the game and I canot find a dev console to either activate or deactivate that bugged quest.

P.D.Sorry for the necrothreading this thread but this is the only one about this topic.....

I typically can take this quest before the alienage is open (annoying that is)
