I would have posted earlier but didn't due to 1812232 or whatever the username was
also my I request that if anyone else is seen doing stuff like taking on whole armies, that they are reported to mod/admin and then that mod/admin removes the post so everyone doesn't get confused...I know this is a comp but in my eyes I would prefer to have it be a fun comp that can be enjoyed instead of a comp that is ruined by some people

Indeed, cheers Dark0ne for so quickly reorganising everything, this is much easier for us to use
I've assumed that we are replaying the game from Malchik's last RPG Update - since there was all that confusion about powerposting I figured it would be best, plus it'll give Malchik a consistent group of posts to respond to tomorrow.

I've mainly gone from the last post in the Merc camp before the original topic was closed...obviously ignoring the god-modder, one man army post made earlier

RE: my recent post I am entering in the Abbey thread right now. I have tried to leave room for the battle to be described by anyone as "they saw it" so that even though the battle is over each character can now take the time to share how they saw the battle come to pass to the two who had been outside when it happened, again GREAT blend in Taehl !!
So anyway just wanted to let folks know that was my intention with my latest post over there.

Something I was impressed with though. Not only did she (the character) finish off the two atronachs, but to underline the superiority her master (player) conjured another one up for her to finish! Hehe that's good fun. :-)
Anyway cheers Dark0ne for the restructuring and a question, am I the only one who gets mysql errors and page can not be found messages all the time tonight?
On the discussion of playstyle isn't it just about letting anyone, be it players or dm, have a fair chance to act on the actions done by your char. Of course that will get you into all these waiting positions, but it's better than inventing actions and reactions of others methinks.
But, bring on the fun :-)

Fully agree on the awaiting ALL participants actions, as in not posting that some other player does this or that while your character does this and the other etc... Let each participant define their own actions/reactions to the events taking place, and yes it is a matter of patience in making a joint story where the events unfold only as quickly as each character can post.
As a side note this is why I listed my available post times in general so that others in the Abbey would know when I was likely to be online and thus able to respond sooner to any posting they might make or when I was available to be contacted about any joint post they may wish to make for dialogue etc between the two characters.
This is getting fun! LOL

*BTW* Yes I too have gotten a LOT of errors today.

nope you are not alone on the mysql and whatever errors, I just thought it was my comp screwing up again
also I tend to not like to use other people's characters unless I really need them...I don't mind leaving open windows if I am interacting with a one or more people who can't get on much...due to my experience in RPing, I have waited more than actually RPed so I get used to it after awhile

All sorts of errors not helped by my Oblivion review which has been posted up on the official site and what not, not that I'm complaining about more site hits! It may be like this for another 24 hours yet, but I've bought a new server which this site will be moving onto soon...obviously this may mean downtime, but it will also mean no downtime afterwards!

haha good one and a pain in the arse, I know all too well. Half my working years the businesses has been struggling a bit and thus servers were kept at an absolute minimum config :-P - brings out the worst in sysadmins hehe.
At least you get your name a bit out by this. :-)
Good luck on the new servers.

Well, since everyone has posted their characters' basic character sheet here, I might as well do the same.
Current location: Drunken Alit
Name: Antehelios (Name he literally picked up from a dead corpse, given name unknown to himself)
Age: Mid-20's (Real age unknown to himself, based on appearance)
Race: Nord
Birthsign: The Thief (probably)
7 Primary Skills:
Light Armor
Swords
Heavy Armor
Archery
Speechcraft
Destruction
Conjuration
Equipment:
Cloak
Dark Brotherhood armor (From those pesky times they assault you while you sleep)
Daedric Katana (Procured from the Dark Brotherhood)
Ebony Short sword (Found on a corpse looted in the cave he woke up in)
Elven Bow (Found on a corpse he looted)
Quiver of arrows
Backpack
Advantages: all around character, charming, good shot with the bow, likes 2 weapon fighting, knows the value of a knife in the back, opportunist, seems experienced
Disadvantages: a loner in general, amnesiac, lecherous and manipulative to a degree, currently on the lam because of an incident in a manor on Morrowind that left behind a dead Nord mistress who was actually a Dark Brotherhood Assassin
