I need something clarified if anyone would be kind enough to do so.

In the updates it says that the leaders disappear and reappear later when the atronachs arrive. Does this mean they seem to teleport away or do they simply fade into the crowd? The common idea that I've been getting from everyone's posts is that the leaders (fairgoth at least) stay around but leave the characters to do what they must, like forming groups. Each time they "reappear" in the individual stories it's to listen to that character's claim as to why they should be aloud on the trip.

So, are they magically warping away or are they just kinda stepping back so the kids can play?

To me the first three times was just a kind of players choice type thing, but this last time I would say they have been either taken or they have warpped away and are not present to speak with. Just my take on it thus far.

I have just one very important question that is bothering me somewhat. Where in the blazes did so many people in the Nord Camp get the idea that Fygge's mercenaries are inexperienced kiddies playing at being a warrior?! Argh! For Sheogorath's sake, they are wearing Paladin Knight armor, that's a hint, people! Okay, nevermind... I'll stop ranting and go back to my little bubble...

I just wanted to mention that, because I live in Indonesia, my posts will be largely offtime with everyone elses. In short, I'd like to reasure the Abbey people that I'm perfectly happy with them moving my character about and chatting with him - within reason ofcourse. I think we can all judge the relative persona of other characters by reading eachother's posts, so I have no problem with this. Just wanted to let you all know :)

Abbey
Name: Tiramir
Race: Breton
Class: Mage
Specialization: Destruction and Conjuration in particular
Stats: High Inteligence, Willpower, and Personality
Note: He is not a Necromancer, but rather a specialist in Daedra summoning.

I fear the Abbey timeline has gone completely out of whack, Trebbits has been put into two different places at once and now he and Fadril seem to have gone ahead in time while still others have gone back in time. I am getting very lost on the events and mix ups that are happening. Could we please try to find an agreement point and simply get back on track rather then try to fix it with further postings, such as going back and editing to whatever we can agree on???

I know this is a contest but I rather like to have a coherent story to build with and I fear the Abbey chapter of this tale is getting very mixed up right now thus leaving me with not having a clue what to post especially since I have been shifted into positions that run parallel to each other yet in separate areas of the Abbey. Bradas has also been rather shifted around among others plus we now seem to have three timelines. I dunno maybe I am just to much of a stickler for detail and all but it is very hard for me to simply ignore the actions posted by other members of the party since I depend on those in order to make a basis for my postings.

I had thought we could simply take on from where Taehl had started the new thread since things had gotten kind of screwy in the original combined thread and so the new Abbey thread on it's own could gain ground and simply move past the previous, so I took Taehl's lead since I thought it a great maneuver, but now I am once again at a loss as the battle has restarted from the Scene #4 posting...

Yeah that's me the anal retentive old freak in the corner whining all the time... sorry, just no idea what to even post at all right now... If we decide to go back to re-do the battle then Taehl and myself can adjust our posts so we are back outside missing the action, if we decide to go with Taehl's lead could BonesNofoa and nielsmajere change theirs to reflect the first two in the new thread?

Or just tell me to get lost and either post something or shut up until I find something to post about etc...

All the best,

TW

Observant. Malchik has not said whether they are highly-skilled soldiers or not, While each character is able to make their own minds up on the skill of the other soldier's it doesn't mean it is true, and people who roleplay them as such when they obviously aren't won't do too well in the compo!

Sorry a combination of computer crash at home and a UK BT problem has prevented me from getting on the net until now.

I am posting what you can all see. The reasons for appearance or disappearance of the leaders has not been explained. You may make whatever guess you like in the interim. Whether they come back or not you must wait to see. Like real life, half the time we don't know what the hell is going on.

I'll try to tidy up the threads now.

Well, in my case, the references are more to the crowd of people who have come to join them. Whether you are included in that group depends on your actions.

Character sheet:

- Name: Rhyll
- Gender: Male
- Race: Mixed Elf- Altmer-Dunmer
- "Class": Rhyll has some basic swordsman skills that his father has taught him- "Things to keep you out of trouble with your head still on and your limbs attached." He understands some of the basic principles of destruction, alteration and restoration ... though he has favored the latter one in the lessons his mother has given him.
- Age: 19 -- He is very young and has barely begun his adventures. His father is a Dunmer who had served the emperor Uriel the VII and went into an early retirement with an Altmer, who he'd met in the course of his duties in Daggerfall. With the "colonization" of Morrowind underway, Jhaerlyn took his bride and young son to his homeland to start a fresh life. Unfortunately, things turned rather sour and dangerous for the family there. Jhaerlyn took his Altmer wife and child and travelled to the capital in search of peace. Now, 7 years have gone by, and Rhyll's father is concerned for his son and his inexperience. He equips his son with some basic things that he brought with him, promising greater gifts if he returns.
- Equipment: Netch Leather Suit- leggings, boots, coat and gloves-, Chain hood, and a Silver Katana.
- Clothing: Over the armour he wears a weather worn cloack of indestiguishable color. It may have been a dark green once.
- Look: He has his father's dark skin and white hair, but his mother's eyes -- a scintilating Blue that occasionally goes towards violet. Though only about as tall as his father, Rhyll's frame is stronger and uses it well. It's tough to actually see much of the Altmer in him; he lacks the "pride" or haughtiness of his mother's clan, though his is nobler and humbler in baring than most dunmer. He doesn't take offence easily ... and this background has gone on too long :D

I am new to Role play in this form, is it ok for me to add what the DM has announced as the story into my posts?

For example in Story Update5 each of the three leaders gives the speech and I refer in my post to Fygge giving "a little speach" and the atronachs vanishing etc.

Thanks
