Darian approached Fairgoth with every intention of introducing himself and impressing her of his many tales of adventure and daring. As he stepped forward however, she stood and he was immediately stricken by her beauty as well as her demanding demeanor. He listened well enough to get the important details about transit camps and resting as he grabbed a scroll from a nearby table and headed to the bar to fill it out.
“That’s an impressive bow you have there Bosmer.”
Darian looked up to see the barkeeper standing near him. “This old thing?” He stroked the end of the bow that protruded past his shoulder. “I like it.” He said matter-of-factly.
The barkeep sized Darian up for a second. “I imagine you do, though it looks more impressive than you give credit for. You look like a brandy man to me; mind if I pour you one while I ask you where you happened upon such a weapon?”
Bosmers weren’t known for liking brandy, and the fact that the barkeep offered it to Darian meant that Sugar-Lips had been in contact. Darian nodded his acceptance and watched as cup was filled for him. “There’s not much to tell really. I won it in a card game with a guard at Ghost Gate; I can’t remember his name though.”
“A card game you say, I can guess he was disappointed to lose it.” The man continued.
“Just a tad.” Darian said as he produced a pipe from his tunic and lit it from a candle that the barkeep offered him. The smoke smelled foul, but Darian liked the taste of it. “He accused me of all kinds of things, the least of which was cheating. He may be looking for me yet.”
“Heh, heh, heh.” The man laughed. “Well I’ll keep an open eye for him. Say, you seem to be a little heavier geared than most folk that have been in today.”
“While I do believe in traveling light, I believe more in being prepared.” Darian sensed that the man was getting at something. “Why do you mention it?”
“Well my friend,” the man began with a smile, “I’ve seen people joining up with Fairgoth all day, and not a one of them has laid in any provisions of food or water.” The barkeep grunted. “I guess traveling light is more important than feeding a man. I have something that might interest you.” Reaching under the bar he produced a small cloth wrapped object. “It may not look like much, but one bite can keep a man sated all day.”
Darian unwrapped the small, rectangular bar. What he found looked more like tightly packed dirt and twigs than it did food. “You’re joking right?” He asked the other man earnestly.
The barkeep lowered his voice. “Sugar-Lips wants desperately for you to succeed in this mission so don’t you be questioning my intentions friend. Take it; you’ll be glad you have it.” He motioned for Darian to put the bundle in his tunic. “Besides, potions are good for revitalizing a body, but nothing will help when you’re camped out in the wilds, cold and hungry with little to no game to hunt.”
“I meant no offence.” Darian placed the packet in an inner pocket. “Thank you for this.”
The barkeep motioned toward Fairgoth. Three men were standing before her. “It seems a few more are eager to go. They look capable; it may not hurt to join them.”
“Thank you again friend.” Darian said as he snuffed out his pipe and downed his brandy in one gulp and headed to join the others.
“Good day.” He nodded to Zow, Ander and Hadrio in turn. “My name is Darian Embershot.” He handed his scroll to Fairgoth. “Might you have room for another in your party?”
He looked to Fairgoth with a slight bow. “My lady, I can think of no other supplied that I need, but if you have any suggestions I will happily comply. Otherwise I’m ready to leave whenever you deem fit.”

Fairgoth smiles - new arrivals.
"There is a group here with three one of you might like to join. The other may have to wait a while. She points to Zow. They are almost ready. Or if you don't like the look of them.."
She shouts into the Alit "Come on all you brave thieves and murderers. Now is the time to redeem yourselves and get rich at the same time. We have five here ready to leave. Surely we can make it eight!"

As he spoke to Thorne, Antehelios saw and heard the exquisitely beautiful elf-maiden Fairgoth announce that some groups are ready to depart and some still need members. Seizing the opportunity, Antehelios leaves the counter and approaches the alluring leader, with a hand outstretched and a sly smile on his face.
"Fine day to die, isn't it?" he said as he approached the leader. "Though I consider myself neither a murderer nor a thief in the strictest sense of those words, I am not lacking in bravery and cunning. I am good with the bow and a blade in each hand," Antehelios said with flourish as he stared in the fair maiden's enchanting eyes. "I can also cast magic in a pinch, though I'd rather utilize a knife in the back if it can be helped. My magical power is raw, and a tad explosive at times, though for you, I'd learn to cast a love spell if it meant more time with your charms," he said in the most sincere voice he could muster.
"Though if you ask me to throw myself into the maw of Oblivion, if that's what it takes to satisfy you, then so be it. The world seems to be ending, might as well go out raising Hell," he finished with a wink. "Put me in any group and all groups, I'll not be a hindrance."

Fairgoth looks at Zow. "You are in a hurry to be away. Two have offered to join you. As Darian was the first to do so I will send him with you. However he must know that anything Daedric poses too great a danger to your party and will be changed to ebony or whatever armour/weapon you prefer. Would you please ask Zow to update the form on your behalf."
(OOC Darian please PM Zow to ensure he does it, thanks)
Zow, Ander, Hadrio and Darian are transported to The Haunted Well where they hear Ook's tale are taken into a large room with four beds and promptly fall asleep.
(OOC that thread will be unlocked in about an hour with the first update)
Fairgoth shouts again "Diego and Antehelios want at least one of you to join them. Don't hide your bravery beneath a cloak of cowardice!"

Oroko frowned as Darian vanished to parts unknown. There went his potential mage partner. Still, that fellow in the orcish armor fit the bill as far as warriors went.
Oroko weaved through the crowd next to the fighter Diego and smiled at him. Good evening sir. I'm sure by now that you are familiar with what's going on, as your presence in this filthy dive indicates. I doubt any sane person would come here for leisure. I can see by your attire that you're a fighter of some skill. by chance, that is exactly what my recent companion and I are in need of. My name is Oroko and he," Oroko points over the many heads of the crowd to the Breton and cotninues, "Is Moreton, a fine fellow, if somewhat unfamiliar with heavy combat. Both of us have a wide variety of useful skills, but sadly, advanced magic and the use of heavier armor are not among them. So, since you don't seem to be weighed down by an abundance of allies at the moment, what say we make my curret duo a trio, eh?"
Oroko extends his hand to Diego and gives him another wide, sly grin.

Well there goes another group. Diego looked over and again his eyes fell on Fairgoth. He couldn't quite place the feelings that welled up inside. He knew he couldn't feel this way, hadn't felt this for 2 summers now. "[i]No it must be a charm spell or enchantment she possesses' he thought to himself. Just then a

Thorne and Antehelios, you guys interested in joining with us, Baba-John asked silently.
Nell, it seems Emeralda became part of the other team without even discussing it.
Let’s just hope we can get Thorne and Antehelios. We’ll need at least four Rogues/Thieves/Adventurers to stand a chance.
Whilst looking for a place to spend the night, Baba-John had stumbled upon some supplies that he thought might come in useful: 2 x Exclusive Restore Health, 4 x Bread, 3 x Hound meat, Rusty Dagger and a comfy bed role. Hail to the modders! Two alleys down there’s a barrel with 200 bonemold arrows. Just watch out for the Nix Hound or maybe you can bring him along for supper.

OOC> There are still several of you in the Alit. Can you get up a group of four. If anyone is left over I'll put him together with those still looking in the other areas. Names I have seen are Baba-John, Nell, Thorn, Antehelios, Oroko and Diego.

[i]"You say your names Oroko, and your companion is Moreton" Diego pondered his choices, these may be the companions he sought. " I would throw in with you but you should know it has been near 8 years since I shed blood. My swords are still sharp though and have not lost my step." Diego figured he would now have to approach Fairgoth to make his intention of joining Orokos group known.

Oroko smiled as he walked over towards Fairgoth with Diego, and laughed.
"Well that's fine. You say you haven't shed blood in a while? no problem! Moreton here doesn't look like he's ever shed any blood at all! This is going to be lots of fun, I can tell already," Oroko grinned wider as he came upon Moreton and Fairgoth. He flashed the pretty Bosmer his most honest smile (which still looked a little bit devious), and leaned forward.
"My lady, we have the minimum group required of three. It will take me a moment to assemble our paper work for you. My armor and weapons are in ship-shape, but I could use a couple of healing potions, and one poison potion, if you can spare it. also, if you know of any mages floating around, they would be more than welcome to even out our trio into a quartet."
Oroko turns to diego and Moreton and begins to take down their information on the list provided, as well as adding his own.
