Trebbits very quickly agreed to Sonnaba's request and pushed the corpse as far back into the small area as he could and then stayed in with it to hold it down on the floor in case the spell wore off to soon he did not want it making a noise. Brada's assured him it was no trouble but helped hold the body in place as well. They then sat and listened and waited to see what the others would do.

Trebbits was happy to be hiding as the thing in the passageway had seemed like it would simply have walked right over them without so much as slowing down or even noticing really... but now his thoughts ran loose. What if, "Bradas! I have a plan and am going to do my best to try it, should I fail please right my sotry for me one day." With that Trebbits was up and back out the door into the chamber where shortly what sounded like a huge creature in the passage would emerge. Drawing all the power he could together he cloaked himself in the best illusion he could possibly make and suddenly there stood the clannfear they had just killed. The Trebbits Clannfear nodded quickly to the others and then went back toward where they had come from and began to slowly walk toward the cerimonial chamber, all the while hoping the large creature would pass him by and enter without giving the Trebbits Clannfear a second glance, and this way at least he could rig the doors or maybe come right back out after seeing the layout of the room to better aid his team in defeating the leader of these troubles. His blood raced.

Rif was busy with the doors when he heared a scuffle going on behind him. He couldn't help but cringe when he heard Trebbits shout, that was definetly going to draw some attention. Just as he finished his thought he heard something at the far end of the tunnel, and it sounded BIG.

Working more hastily now, Rif opened the door when he was satisfied that it was safe. "No point in running away only to die from carelessness", he thought. Once through he followed suit and hid in one of the passages to let the big thing pass.

Clanfear! Another one! How in the gods holy undergarments did that get there! Sonnaba was about to drain it of life when his short term memory overrode the adrenaline. Trebbits the illusionist had been standing there the moment before… and this clanfear nodded cheekily to him before scurrying off towards the end of the tunnel.

With a sigh Sonnaba turned back to opening the door with the scurrying noises coming from it. Hopefully the Breton wouldn’t get himself, or the rest of them, killed. Good idea though…

The thing passes the doors of the side tunnels. Unfortunately for Trebbits clannfear, while his illusion was not penetrated, he was in the way. There is a zap and Trebbits clannfear is behind the thing with both his legs broken.

He does at least hear the thing grunt "Agalaya's Teeth" and a door opening and closing. Annoyingly the creature had 100% chameleon spell so he did not even see it.

Trebbits kept his head, the adreniline and fear keeping the pain from escaping his mouth. He waited until the door again had closed and then cast a heal spell from one of his rings hoping to at least abate the pains. He also maintained the illusion as best he could just in case anything else was on its way, and he waited for the others so he could tell them what he had heard.

Hiding. Not his preferred mode of combat, but it worked in a pinch. The creature passed by them without incident, but they heard a “zap” before it entered the large cavern. Emerging from the side tunnel, Sonnaba noticed a crumpled pile of…clanfear a little ways down the passage towards the cavern door. Rushing up, it was obvious to Sonnaba that the creature’s legs were broken… but it could be part of the illusion. Judging from the moans though, he doubted it.

Squatting next to the clanfear, he whispered “Trebbits. Just legs hurt or other parts too?” He extracted one of his dwindling supply of powerful healing potions from his bag and extended it to the diminutive daedra. “Here, take this. Not sure where mouth at.”

Trebbits took the potion and from what Sonnaba saw poured it into the clannfears neck area. Managing a thanx and waiting for the potion to take it's effect Trebbits passed on the information that he had overheard the giant creature saying right before the door opened. He then figured he would see if the potion had done it's job and tried to get to his feet, now dropping the illusion since they were back together again. Using his other two rings Trebbits cast the restore magic spells that they held hoping that it would be enough to fully restore him after that spell.

[Sonnaba]

Trebbits relayed what he had heard as he recovered and cast a few spells. While painful (for Trebbits at least), the effort to infiltrate had been worthwhile: they should be able to open the door.

With Trebbits again on his feet, it was time. As Sonnaba picked through his bag, he glanced at the Breton appraisingly. “That very brave. Not smartest thing I seen, but brave. You hide all us like that? Or like at gatehouse? We need move through room unnoticed…”

As he was awaited Trebbits’ reply, Sonnaba extracted seven small vials, and handed one to each of them. "Drink right before fight start. Make stronger.”

<OOC: The vials contain standard fortify strength>

<OOC2: This has been tons of fun! It's been a real pleasure gaming with all of you and best of luck! :D

I still game if the rest of you are... 8) >

Fadril had been very impressed by Trebbits' spell. He could make themself look like a clannfear? Fadril had never been very good at magicka, which is why he dedicated himself to his physical traning, but now he thought that if he could be good at it, he might not be creative enough to use it well.

And now... Behind the door was their goal. It had to be. Fadril handed one of the healing potions back to Sonnaba, and took the vial of liquid strength. He had used potions such as that before, and knew how to handle the rush of adrenaline they always created.

Fadril quietly asked the group "Are we still scouting first, or shall we use the element of surprise?"

Trebbits was regaining himself and thought he had another idea. "Bradas mentioned that he can use the ruby he has as a start point for a copy of himself. What if we open the door and I can again draw on my magic to look like the dead Clannfear and enter. I can then go to the back of the chamber and drop the ruby back there and make my way to the other side of the room, then Bradas can do his spell and his copy will draw all the attention to the back of the room and then the rest can rush in the door and we can do our worst to the leader? I might even be able to manage making two of us look convincing enough so that we could attack from both sides of the leader. Might be best if Bradas and I went in together and then the noise from the disruption would be your signal to come through the doors."

Trebbits was again back to feeling well and his legs were fully functional again so the adreniline was rushing back into his mind with ideas and thoughts and wild conjectures, but he was sure that if they could pull it off it would work perfectly to their advantage. He fidgeted while he waited for the others to think through what he had suggested.
