Erunanion looked at the faces of all the party, knowing that they neared the end of their quest, and that they were in the most danger they faced in their time together. He thought back to all the battles he had fought through, all the decisions he had made that had turned out for the better or the worse. He would not shy away from one more.

He suspected that Emerelda wished to say something, and stepped over to her., and in a hushed voice spoke with her for a moment. Leaning back, Erunanion thought clearly Emerelda and I have come up with an order of attack, if everyone is accepting of it. I propose that:

Erunanion enters first, with the chameleon ring on and a slight way ahead of the group, say five metres. He'd remove this once they begun fighting.
Ice
Ralaith
Aldhelm
Dur-Colath
Emeralda
Gnaag
Kane, to guard our rear in case the Daedra come out of the tunnel we have not chosen.

What do you think? If you wish to change your positions, then by all means speak."

He took a deep breath, then looked at the tunnels. Which to take, which to take. He discounted the left-hand tunnel, as that would appear to contain the rift that would take them to Oblivion, and that was not their goal. It seemed that those in the party who would venture an opinion would go down the central tunnel. Erunanion was also leaning towards that decision, as the voices he had first heard coming from the central passage would suggest that one enemy had been giving instructions to another as they had walked. However, they both might have emerged and the instructing Daedra taken the right-hand tunnel to go to this ceremony, which they must surely stop for no reason other than it was a ceremony performed by evil. Perhaps it was to activate the device above them, which made him doubly anxious to decide the right path and attack. Bah, if only he had stayed below the trapdoor and watched the Daedra that had been talking, we would have known which paths they took!

Unless someone wishs to object, or unless there is a way of magically detecting which way is correct, I think that the central passage will lead us to this ceremony. While I would dearly like to separate and investigate each one, I fear that time is against us and we must move as a whole. I believe that this course will hold either battle or our death, and perhaps both. But we cannot turn aside now, we are warriors for Tamriel! We shall fight this scourge that threatens our land and our lives!

Hoping hard that he had chosen correctly, he slipped the chameleon ring back onto his finger and approached the centre tunnel, careful of where he placed his feet, and with his drawn sword held out in front of him.

[OOC] Hope I chose the right one, if anyone thinks otherwise for the love of Jebus post and stop me. I want to reach the ceremony and have a right royal fight - can't have that if I chose wrong and we all die :P [/OOC]

Emeralda cast her invisiblity spell and added a chameleon spell just for good measure, then got into position in the line. She was grateful for her high unarmored abilities, knowing she would be able to move very quickly without any armor on. She drew her dagger and started to concentrate so that she wouldn't miss anything that was to be seen or heard.

" I think you have chosen wisely, Erunanion. I am ready to follow."

[ooc] If I am not online please feel free to move my position and know that Emeralda agrees to any changes.[ooc]

Looking at the passages to the left and right Dur-Colath hits opon an ideal. Let slow down these creatures as much as we can. Two of you grab chairs and bar the doors at the end of either passage while I and one other tie a lenth of rope At each of the entrances of the two passages. The rope must be ankle hight, any lower and it will be useless, any higher and it will be seen. I wish we had time to set up some traps but oh well. This should give whoever comes down these passages to join up with the Deadra in the central passage a nice surprise.

Dur-Colath cuts two lenghts of rope, each long enough to strecht across the entrance of each passage. Grabing some odd pieces as he silently heads to the left passage Dur-Colath puts in motion his plan, secureing the ends of the rope at either end of the entrance he makes sure that the rope is secure and at the right hight. 'even if the others dont help with this at least I know the creatures that come down this passage will be in for a little surprise.' After compleating his job he sliently gets back in line to await going forward.

OOC: sorry all for not being on...internet went down on me and found out my PC was infected...been trying all day to fix it >_<

Kane was lost within his own thoughts to notice what the others were doing, even though he went in just after Ice, he found himself at the back of the group, he snaps out of his thoughts just to catch Erun's choice of order.

Yeah, yeah...sounds good...I'll stay at back incase we are trapped from both sides but just for the record...as soon as we reach a huge area...whoever is infront of me, find the nearest hiding place because all this waiting is playing havoc on my anger and I may kind of go berserk on the daedra

Kane grins, since he was the one at the back now, he could allow for his broadsword to drag behind him but hover just above the ground as to know draw attention to himself through the sound of metal against rock or whatever the ground was made from...for him to do this he must have incredible strength within his right hand since Broadswords are usually two handed swords...yet his daedric claymore was modified enough to become one handed and if needed two handed depending on the amount of force Kane wishes to apply behind the sword. The ebony broadsword had only changed the daedric property of his sword, or atleast to Kane's understanding that is what happened it was either that or due to using the daedric claymore for years, he hadn't noticed that for him the broadsword was light.

Listening to the other's ideas about what they should do, Aldhelm decided to offer a suggestion to Erunanion. "I am fine with the order you have suggested. However, if you are unsure which passage to take, maybe a Detect Enchantment potion will help make up your mind. Obviously, whatever this "ceremony" entails, it will probably involve the usage of strong Magicka and will therefore be quite apparent if you drink one of my Exclusive Detect Enchantment potions. Here, take one and see if it helps."

Handing his potion to Erunanion, Aldhelm proceeded to walk over to where Dur-Colath was tightening the ropes that would secure the doors that Daedra might try and attack from and begins to assist him with the task. After he had finished helping secure the ropes, Aldhelm leaned back against the newly-made barricade and pulls out his Silver Viperblade and begins to examine it to make sure it is ready for what Aldhelm believes will probably be the most intense battle of his life.

[ooc] As it made obvious from this post, Erunanion, I think you should she where the strongest enchantment in the basement lies and head that way, surely where there are enchantments there are going to be Daedra. The stronger the enchantment, the stronger the Daedra. [/ooc]

[OOC] Cracking, thanks titanania, this is exactly what I was hoping would happen when I mentioned "magical aid" in my post :)[/OOC]

Excellent idea Aldhelm, many thanks. Erunanion uncorked the bottle and took a long draught. He finished the potion, then placed the bottle in his pack. In retrospect, he should have removed it since the extra weight, although is was slight, might hamper his movements. Erunanion ignored the errant thought; he was used to the strange thoughts that occupy a mind before battle.

He stood at the entrance to the tunnel and waited for the potion to take effect.

Ralaith spoke, or, rather, thought, up yet again. The order sounds good to me, and as I am not totally sure which passage would be the best, I will follow your decisions. I do agree with Aldhelm about the magic, though. The lead daedra is likely to be carrying something that is fairly enchanted, and the device that sets off whatever was up on the surface will probably do it by magickal means, so the strategy makes sense. He was a little annoyed at all the talk of honor and such as he was in it for the glory, but if that is what motivated his partners to perform, then he was all for it.

[ooc] I couldn't get on earlier (school) but I, too, would like to wish Gnaag good luck with all. It's been a joy RPing with you, and I hope you don't mind Ralaith's comments, that's just his character. [/ooc]

"Excellent, Aldhelm! Your quick thinking could save us!" Emeralda was nervous, but with such a strong group they would surely succeed.

It was no problem Aldhelm sent across the link, And anyone else wanting a few Detect Enchantment potions or Detect Key Potions needs simply to ask. The potions' whole purpose was to help the group and they will not help much all bundled up in my satchel.

Finishing looking over his Viperblade, he sheathed it then pulled his Ebony Dagger out of his boot and began to clean it with an oil cloth out of his satchel. He knew ALL of his weapons would prove useful, and not simply his blades. He hoped that the essence would refresh him and make the fight easier for his companions. He hoped they wouldn't be too shocked, but he wanted to protect his newfound companions from any harm he could, and if using his abilities did that, Aldhelm was going to use them.

The potion allows Erunanion to establish the greatest magic is coming from the left hand tunnel.
