He shakes his head. "I have not seen Dull Griet for several days but she is certainly no Daedric monster. Greta was a harmless and very ancient lady who had been a very brave and beautiful fighter in her youth. But age stole her reason a good twenty years ago hence the nickname. So she too has been destroyed. These creatures respect nothing. I would weep for her but I have heard of too many horrors to be able to weep any more."
He climbs back to his hammock. "Wake me if you need my healing skills but I am still weak from the blow to the head and need to rest a while."

“Please friends do not be too harsh with you’re condemnation of me. Sometimes my sympathy for the elderly gets to me, I meant for no one to come to any harm.”

"I am Garrick, a Battlemage of sorts, 'retired' up until recently." Then Garrick waited for everyone to introduce themselves, so that all of them finally knew who they were dealing with.
"The next thing I would like, is a detailed description of the shack you went to and how you got there, as we must determine whether you even met Dull Griet, the local 'madwoman', at all," Garrick begins as he started to pace up and down the room. "Ook here seems convinced that Dull Griet could help us out, which makes me suspect you simply went to the wrong place and fell into a trap. Did you inquire a name of this being before she attacked you?"
"Third, I think it would be a good idea for us to empty our packs, for as far as we have them, just like Ulf suggested. I only have several sacks of ingredients, two axes and what I am wearing," Garrick said and put the ingredients on a table, so anyone could inspect them. "Though I have no idea of knowing if my ingredients are still fresh without eating them. Before you came back in, I was about to have Wulfgar search the belongings you all left upstairs. Now, as we have been told, some of us have been told twice, one of us is being controlled in their sleep. That means that whoever it is, is innocent of an malicious intent, but still proves a threat. It would be best if we all started to work together and think together and do it right now!"
"We are all hungry, exhausted and only Hermaeus Mora knows what else exactly happened to some of you. It is of the utmost importance we start doing things right. We need supplies before we enter the Well and enough of them. If we can not find out who among us is the 'sleepwalker', then we will need to device a way of taking guard shifts and securing each sleeping member, but that is for later on, just give it some thought for now. Also, we start to listen more carefully to Ook here, who has been nothing but helpful from the start, as it would seem that much of all this could have been avoided if you had not been in so damned a rush!"
"Now, first things first, describe the shack to Ook and let us see where you have wandered into. And no divulging from the subject at hand, understood? Time is of import and it will not do to start bickering amongst ourselves or coming up with all sorts of unrelated nonsense to divide our focus. Once we have worked down my simple listing, then we can start making other suggestions. And, no, I do not intend to brook any kind of insolence at this moment, for if you all had simply listened to what I had to say, we wouldn't be in this pit of Hircine's feces all together! Understood?"
At those last words, Garrick slammed his fist into the table and looked carefully at each and every member of the group. His eyes showed sheer determination and all but the most insensible would realize that he, Wulfgar and Ismail had not left the house, thus they were not drained, exhausted or in any other way affected in a more negative way then how they had woken up. It was unlikely that even the boldest of warriors could stand against Garrick, certainly not if he was backed up by Wulfgar and Ismail, who had been in his party to begin with and would be expected to sympathize with him.

Darian agreed that this was a good idea. “My name is Darian Embershot. Some would call me ‘thief’ or ‘brigand’ though I consider myself more of an ‘urban ranger’.” He shifted slightly in his seat wishing that there was brandy to be had. “I’m adept with bows and short blades. The shadows and alleys of the city are my friends as they allow me to move unobserved, I fair well in the wilds though wide open spaces do not serve me well at all.”"I am Garrick, a Battlemage of sorts, 'retired' up until recently." Then Garrick waited for everyone to introduce themselves, so that all of them finally knew who they were dealing with.
Darian relates everything that he knows of the shack and its location. He also tells of the corpses in the cellar and the key that allowed his escape from the trapdoor."The next thing I would like, is a detailed description of the shack you went to and how you got there, as we must determine whether you even met Dull Griet, the local 'madwoman', at all," Garrick begins as he started to pace up and down the room. "Ook here seems convinced that Dull Griet could help us out, which makes me suspect you simply went to the wrong place and fell into a trap. Did you inquire a name of this being before she attacked you?"
“I did in fact ask the woman’s name. She did not give it however, she seemed, understandably, preoccupied with food.”
Darian laid out his belongings on the table for everyone to inspect. He included the leather wrapped package given to him by the barkeeper and the gold key."Third, I think it would be a good idea for us to empty our packs, for as far as we have them, just like Ulf suggested.
“As you can see I don’t have much with me.” He sighed to himself. “I suppose I could have prepared myself better.” He trusted that his weapons were in plain enough sight foe all to see.
He gave everyone free access to his repair kits, his fletching kit and potions. He did however keep a watchful eye to guard against further tampering.
To Ulf he said. “my friend, your idea of casting dispel on all of us is not without merit, though I think that the spells would better serve us if you cast them on our belongings.” He considered for moment before continuing. “We know that one of us is being controlled, though I doubt that this control is direct. Magics like that leave their telltale signs on the victim. The old woman for instance.” He paused to better organize his thoughts. “Her legs did not get twisted and mangled on their own. I think it was a result of her possession by the demon. It is more likely that the one being controlled is under the influence of a spell on his belongings.”

Still with slight frustration in his eyes (his goggles were off) he said: "The shack was small, not large enough to be comfortable using a bow. The surroundings showed no special signs, the place looked old, and broken.
"However the mad women purposly did not answer all the questions I asked her, that was one of the first indications to not trust her, at least in my eyes. Complications with poison lead Ulf and Hadrio outside; I was not even supposed to be in that shack, I requested not to. But somehow me Ander, and Darian were there. Waiting for the others. I didnt believe it was a good idea for anyone to enter the cellar, we needed more information, but alas Darian went forward and thus chaos followed".
"But I do not wish to point fingers, its useless dwelling on it now, I'm just telling you what you wanted to know" He then turned to Ook.
"This Dull Griet, did she live in that shack? If so then, that must have been her corpse, possessed" He turned back to Darian and asked: "You found 2 bodies in the cellar? What did they look like, what did they have on them? Perhaps Ook will know who they are, and why there was two of them."
Zow glanced over Ook once more. How can he answer our questions when all he wishes to do is sleep, he is not very helpful. Then he slowly looked at Hadrio and said: "Sorry, I dont with to impair myself, so I'll have to decline your offer."
Zow leaned back against the nearby wall, silently looking over everyone thinking. Perhaps we should do a test, take turns sleeping, as to see who is possessed. But why bother that now, when we dont know what to do with that person yet. If it were up to me, I'd have him killed, but I dont beleive that the rest of the crew will be behind me on that. Unless there is a way to get the possessed out. Zow continued to think by himself.
He then dropped his bag, that he had been carrying with all his belonging beside him. Not saying anything but he indicated his things can be searched.

Hadrio could tell that the high elf was trying to look demeaning, but it seemed like a joke to Hadrio. He had been through too much to be scared of anything, save what had been burned into his mind since childhood: Daedra. He bit his tongue, however, as a retort came to mind.
Darian's words of dead bodies peaked Hadrio's ears, and he turned to look at him. He decided against using words, and kept his thoughts to himself.
"Aight, well I'm Hadrio in case y'all ain't aware. I cain't describe nothin' about the shack 'cause I didn't get a good look around. I can say, though, that the old crone was ugly as Oblivion. Wisps of falling hair, crinkled skin, and the whole eye was pale blue with no whites. She had no teeth, and stank of death."
He then turned all his pockets inside out, and took off his bandana. He unsheathed his machete and laid it out in front of him. He took his club from his belt, brandishing it in the air playfully. There was a leather sack full of shards of flint and steel, a few vials of healing and poison-curing potion, five small bottles of sujamma about the size of a shot glass, and that was the extent of it. He took off his bandana and laid it out into a neat square, smoothing it out for anyone to observe, but made it clear that nothing was to be done to it, not touched or cast upon. Then he realized he still had something in his back pocket, and removed a small sack of Moon Sugar he'd completely forgot about. He chuckled, and laid it out.
"Anybody want a lil' somn-somn to ease the pain away?" he said, grinning.
He turned to Ulf. "Ey, I'm cool if you wanna cast dispel on me or whatever, just don't touch my bandana or club, aight?" He examined Ulf's face, and noticed it was splotched in the right places. "Som'n wrong, my friend? Want some moon? Or a sujamma?" he offered tentatively.

"Anybody want a lil' somn-somn to ease the pain away?" he said, grinning.
“Sure.” Darian replied simply as he picked up Hadrio’s cure poison potion. “You had this the whole time and didn’t try to use it on any of our food and water.” He looked at the others, confident that his argument was valid. “You never cease to amaze me. You didn’t even use it on yourself to save Ulf the trouble of treating you.”
He made a “humph” sound and shook his head and placed the potion back on the table. “You seem more comfortable pushing your wears in barrooms and back alleys than having anything to do with teamwork.”
“Hey Ulf.” He added as an after thought. “The next time he wants to play ‘the pro-fessional’ victim, I recommend you use your powers to give him a ‘lil’ somn-somn’ to think about.” Darian turned attention back to Hadrio anticipating his next comment.
“You know, I’m usually not so confrontational, but you just have a way of bringing out the worst in me.” He sat back in his chair, disgusted with the entire ordeal.

"The old woman spoke with full control and not like one who is rambling in madness or weak."
Ulf asked Garrick: "Has there been any contact with Fygge or any other of the leaders?"
"Mayhaps the wooden beam used to hit Ook with should be looked for too... it may yield something or other."
Sniffing at his brandyskin first Ulf sipped the brandy and let out a deep relieved sigh.
Looking up at Darian and Hadrio, he said: "I do not think dispelling on items would do anything... at least in my experience, the deadra do not even bother to use items as conducters for their power to control - no need to simple as that."
"No thanks on the sugary stuff friend, I will stick to me brandy here... and if anyone wants a sip of that, please do."
Ulf looked down at his boots and kept his look focused there for awhile. "I am sorry for the rash behavior and for not putting trust where trust is due." Looking back up again he continued: "By damn, we were lucky not to be killed all of us."

Zow, in a foul mood, begins to walk around the house searching for any clues, searching all rooms. Putting on his goggles to brighten his view.
