Oroko left the building shorlty after Rahlard's announcement and the discovery of the...device. Its hellish wails were enough to drive anyone mad if they stayed in its presence long enough. As he came outside, he saw the Redguard clumsi;ly trying to break something open. He approched and saw a partially invisible chest.

Despite the atmosphere of gloom, misery and terror, Oroko laughed as Anet's clumsy attempt failed.

"Easy there tough guy. You can't solve every problem by swinging a sword at it," Oroko said. He dug through his bag and came up with his master lockpick and probe. Delicate, well crafted instruments to be sure. In his business as a thief, lock picking was essential. not everybody was so kind as to leave their doors and windows open after the sun had gone down. Likewise, as an assassin, it was a necessary skill needed in order to infiltrate the target's dwelling. As such, Oroko had been picking locks since time out of mind, and had managed to get past some rather difficult ones with less precise equipment than he now possessed.

He knelt down in the dirt by the strange chest, tilted his gondolier helm back to see better, then bent forward and began to gently probe and pick at the lock.

Diego paused, not sure of Sesmars words. Though he and death had been companions since he was young, albeit they had been strangers lately, he couldn't shake this feeling of dread. He had never known such... such FEAR.

Glancing to the men beside he did not think the feeling was solely within him they all seemed affected. Sheathing Dark Soul Diego went to help move the table.

He was assailed by the screams first, women & children, wailing. Then he focused on what caused the screams. This was not just death but a rendering of the soul, agony beyond measure. The feeling of impending doom was almost enough to make a brave man run crying and sobbing in the fields. To make a sane man babble and tear his own flesh. This must be OBLIVION itself. This is what they want, to turn all they touch to their hellish domain. This was evil incarnate.

Diego staggered back nearly overwhelmed by the power of his thoughts.
He ventured outside to gather with his companions "This evil must be stopped regardless of the cost" His voice betraying him with the concerns in his heart. Regaining his composure "They are nearing completion of their foul plans we must not allow that to come to fruition my friends"

Oroko finds the box very hard to open and all but one of his picks are destoyed in the attempt. Finally when it opens he finds 12 rings of ce night eye, a cache of resist fire potions, six scrolls of fiercely roasting and a map.

The map appears to show caverns and cellars but with no indication of where they start.

Sesmar once again hears Rahlard in his head. "When I cured you I was granted the chance to aid you telepthically but once only. I feel this is the time. Enter the secure prison. You will find no enemies above ground. Take the stairs to the cellar - it is one large room. However it has two concealed doors. The first, in the wall on the left, is where a small emergency food supply is kept. The second, in the far wall is locked and the key lost. Behind it is the start point of the map you have found. Get everyone there as quickly possible and then make your plans."

Oroko distributed the rings of night eye and resist fire potions equally, and gave every else a scroll of fiercely roasting, but since there were only six, he did not keep one for himself.

"If anybody doesn't want their magic scroll, I'll take it, otherwise," he said and picked up the map. "I suggest we get going."

Nell waited patiently as Oroko attempted to pick the chests complex lock. It had taken a while but in the end Oroko was sucessful. The lid of the chest was slowly opened, Nell had expected to find some powerful talisman that they could use to destroy the terrible object they had found and end this quest once and for all. But instead they found potions and magical rings, and what looked to be a map of some sort. As Nell was examining the contents of the chest, Sesmar spoke up saying that Rahlard was agian speaking to him. He said that they needed to enter the prison, that they would find no presence of the deadra above ground. He spoke of two hidden doors in the cellar. One leading to a hidden cache of food was kept the other door was looked and the key was lost. Nell concluded that the map they found must represent whatever lay beyond the locked door.
"If what Sesmar says is true then we must make haste." Nell started towards the prison, trusting what Rahlard had told Sesmar, that the deadra were not above ground. Nell waited by the prison entrance for the others.

"I believe we must trust what Sesmar hears, and move on to the prison, if that abomination in there is activated I fear it may end all life in in our world." Diegos' face grew resolute and his brown eyes took on a darker hue. By all that is holy he swore that would not happen. "Keep the scroll Oroko I believe you will make more use of it than I." pocketing the ring of night eye and the resist fire potions, Diego began to follow Nell.

Arcos gratefully accepted the scroll and ring of night eye, and upon seeing the Resist Fire potions, laughed out loud recalling Sesmar and him gathering the ingredients for the Dispel Magic potions what seemed like a long time ago, way back in the Mercenary Camp. "Somehow I knew it," Arcos laughed. "Let us proceed."

Arcos walked up to the gate of the prison and laid his hand on one of the double doors. Through his gauntlet, he could feel all the anger, the pain, the suffering that had taken place in the building throughout the years. The building radiated with the tortured screams of many brave men, women, and children. Arcos ground his teeth audibly when he realized that many probably were dissenters from Morrowind.

He kicked the door, and it radiated a hollow noise, deceivingly hollow, for the prison was still full. Full of what, however, remained to be seen...

Nell entered the prison after Arcos had kicked the door in. It was a good thing no one was at home because they would have killed instantly had there been. Nell eyed the empty room that was the prison and spotted the stairs that Sesmar told them all about. He descended the stairs instinctively on his guard even though the all clear had been given by Rahlard. He made it down the stairs without incident and scaned the cellar. Nell felt around the wall until finding the proper stone that activated the hidden door. There was the sound of stone moving and the hidden door moved away from the wall revealing the food cache that Sesmar spoke of.

Nell wasn't hungry and instead focused on finding a way to open the other hidden dorrway that Sesmar mentioned, the one that would get them on their way. The key was lost, so did that mean that it could be found? But where could it be? Perhaps it was amongst the food stores or perhaps it was lost in the shadows. They could use their night eye rings to search the dark areas of the cellar. Or the key could be lost
forever and the means for opening the hidden door could be found another way.

Diego followed Nell sword ready and eyes alert. As they descended the stairwell he put on the ring of night eye, his vision improved dramatically. He watched vigilantly as Nell searched and opened the storeroom door. He had no thoughts of hunger, thought it seemed like years since last he ate, he remembered to well the first morning at the dorm. Any foodstuffs found would probably be poisoned or spoiled anyway. Still searching the storage area seemed to be the best option till Oroko got this door open. He could try his hand at it but Oroko seemed to have a nack for that sort of thing, as any good thief should.

Oroko was finally able to open the box that Antehelios foolishly struck with his swords earlier. What they found was a cache of useful magical equipment, and Diego distributed it equally among them. In the bleak, dark, dreary night Antehelios felt that this discovery was a ray of hope that will illuminate their way. "It seems we have just used the last of our luck with the items in this box," Antehelios said with a slightly pained chuckle. His shoulder was still sore, and it would take some time before he swung a heavy axe again, but it was still functional enough to use a bow and sword.

He sheathed his swords and took out his bow as they followed the map and descended down the cellar. The cellar was spacious, if dank and quite dark. It was full of cobwebs and quite humid, which made Antehelios feel uncomfortable. The others had discovered a food cache hidden in the left wall, and Antehelios helped himself to few items before exploring the rest of the cellar. "Good thing we have these Night Eye rings," he said as he began to search for the key or another way to open the other hidden door within the cellar. "Could've used this ring on few occasions when I had to sneak out of a woman's bedroom in the dead of night when their husbands and fathers unexpectedly came in," he continued and laughed out loud after finishing.
