Oroko put up his hand as Antehelios spoke and shook his head.

"No Ante, none of that. Whether it was Sesmar or Aleksi, it doesn't matter. The real culprit here was the forces of Oblivion. That is our true enemy, not these men here. The attacker was under the sway of powerful, evil forces, and I cannot fault them. We need only hear who this bunk belongs to, and then Rahlard can cure them, and we can move into the prison. There is no need for punishment today."

Aleksi watches as the discovery is made. "That's not my bed. I slept over there," he says, pointing to one a couple bunks over. "So now we know who the assassin is, and what to do about it." Despite the assurances that the assassin was an unwilling one, his hand still drops to his rapier in anticipation of trouble.

Oroko put up his hand as Antehelios spoke and shook his head.

"No Ante, none of that. Whether it was Sesmar or Aleksi, it doesn't matter. The real culprit here was the forces of Oblivion. That is our true enemy, not these men here. "Right, forgive my outburst," Antehelios replied with a slight chuckle. "My passions are getting the better of me," he said as he took out a bottle of Sujama he "borrowed" from the Alit from his pack and took a quick sip to compose himself. "But I still maintain we must sort out who is the pawn of Oblivion, if we are to contend with the horrors of the prison itself without having to worry about a knife in the back," he finished.

"Tell me Rahlad, did you struggle against your assailant? Were you able to hit him or do harm in any way? Perhaps you left a bruise or mark on their body?" he asked as the insight came to him. "If that's the case, we could ask Aleksi and Sesmar to submit themselves to a full examination, then we could finally sort out this mess and assault the prison and earn the adoration of chaste maidens and saucy wenches alike when we get back..."

Antehelios trails off as he notices Aleksi shift his hand towards his weapon. Antehelios nonchalantly backs away to take another swig of Sujama with his left hand while he places his right hand near the hilt of his short sword. Trouble is coming, and though he could not be sure of Aleksi's guilt, he did not like the way he was acting either.

"It seems that won't be necessary anymore Ante. Aleksi slept elsewhere, which leaves only Sesmar. So," Oroko said, turning to Sesmar. "It would appear that you were unwillingly engaged in a bit of subterfuge, eh? No matter, we have already concluded that it wasn't your fault. Just come over to Rahlard here and he will purge you of the evil influence and we can get to our real mission."

Oroko gestures at the the Imperial guard, and stands aside so Sesmar may pass. Like Aleksi, he too is wary. He doesn't think Sesmar would resist, but he can't be sure how powerful the forces of Oblivion are. They might reassert their control over Sesmar now that he has been discovered.

His tricky, slanted thieve's mind glances over at Aleksi once again.

Or perhaps the forces already have reasserted control over their meat puppet, and Aleksi is lying...Well, best to hear from Sesmar first before jumping to conclusions, he thinks and makes sure he keeps both men in his line of sight for the time being.

"Keep your weapon sheathed Aleksi, there will be no need for that cast your spell Rahlad." Looking over to Sesmar "well Sesmar?" Diego then warns Ante "be careful what you consume remember that not only rations may have been poisoned."

Nell had been waiting for one of the two men to answer as to who slept where when he spotted Aleski's hand grasp his sword. Nell suddenly felt his warrior instincts kick in, as if he sensed trouble. His hand also went to his sword, mainly out of instinct. Get a grip on yourself Nell, he thought to himself, now was not the time to engage into hostilities. Words of disdain from his friend Diego reasured his thoughts.
"There is no need to shed anyone's blood, save that for the deadra." Now that the culprit had finally been discovered, Rahlard would finally be able to dispell the evil of Oblivion that had plagued their friend.

"If you are sure?" Rahlard waves a hand. Nothing appears to happen but anything you had forgotten comes back to you so presumably you had chosen correctly. It is time to plan the campaign.

The choice was had been made and Rahlard cast his magic. Nothing visually appeared to happen but the by the look on Rahlard's face convinced Nell that it had. Nell breathed a sigh of relief as things were beginning to look better. The evil of oblivion had been sucessfully repelled and now they could concentrate on formulating a plan. Nell slowly walked over to where the Oroko had discovered the loose brick. Shifting through the items Nell retreived his dagger that had been stolen from him and sheathed it inside his boot, now he felt complete.

Diego looks around wondering if in the end it was that simple. Seeing Nell move to recover his dagger he relaxes. "For a second I thought you were going to pull your sword Aleksi." Glancing at Rahlard he asks, "Now Rahlard back to our questions."

" Rahlard how far is the fort from here, do the have a mage that can write us some scrolls?"
"How far are the gates from the dorm we are in?"
"How many buildings are in the guard families area and is the armory, wardens residence, or storage there. If not where is the location of each?"
" Is there a way to trravel from the first set of gate to the second without having to be in the open, in case of siege?"
"Did the staff families have an escape plan or bolt hole? I would be surprised if the warden didn't but his wouldn't be known to all I'm sure."
"Is there anything useful in the buildings nearest us." Diego felt in their haste to evacuate the area something of value may have been left, enchanted items maps, keys it would be easier to know which buildings were which so no time would be wasted searching needlessly

Nell had questions of his own he wished to make present.
"What variety of deadra can we expect to encounter?"
"What is the surrounding area like, are there any wooded areas that we might use to cover our advance?"
"How about alternate routes, say perhaps sewers?" Nell believed his questions appropriate and waited for Rahlard to give his answers. Perhaps later, when he had time, he would explore the surrounding area for ingerdients so that he might begin mixing up invisible potions for the others and himself. Nell would ask Diego if he would like to acompany him; just in case he ran into trouble, Nell wanted to have someone with him to watch his back.
