Darak was angry at Frouth for the unsolicited flight.
Anyway he regained his composure, trying not to give away his thoughts and feelings.

Darak looked at the church in front of them. An eerie silence permeated the air. There was not even a gust of wind. Everything was still.
There was something very wrong in there, Darak thought, something that made the hair on his neck stand.

He slowly unsheated his sword. He was not used to that dark hue of the blade; it gave him the chills... but Esquisite had said that this way it would not attract daedra.
During his past adventures, Darak had always slayed those fiends with his crimson daedric dai-katana; it was some sort of "poetic justice", he liked to think. But ebony would work anyway.

The demons were certainly in the desacrated church : no reason to let them wait.

Darak's fingers began moving, tracing arcane symbols in the air.

Rising gently over the wall with the others, the familiar sensation of airborne superiority brought a feeling of security to Tiramir. But he new it would not last long, for ahead loomed the Church Monastery. Bringing a spell to mind, he readied himself to cast it should trouble arise. However, unable to make out anything on the church, he turned to his companions, "Darak, what do your elven eyes see?"

"Darak, what do your elven eyes see?"

[ooc]someone just HAD to work that quote in huh? Man thats got to be the lamest line from LotR =) Also. Crimson would never allow himself to be levitated by spell or potion cause he hates and distrusts magic in ALL forms. That also means he wouldnt use a silver weapon, summoned or not. But since I wasnt around to post about it I have to do it now. I know everyone is in a hurry to get to the meat and potatoes of the rp but I dont like it when one player makes choices for us all. Tactics and things are fine but saying we all do this and do that is too much[/ooc]

Crimson glanced around as the others float off the ground and into the air headed over the wall leading into the garth, glad his feet are securily on the ground, his eyes focus on the wall in front of him preparing to scale it. "...Hows it lookin over there guys?" he asked quietly as he began to scale the wall.

Strangely there is total silence everywhere. As you are levitated against your wills over the north wall and into the cloister garth you see two things. The cloister itself is square the outer walls - the southern of which is the church wall - are solid but the inner wall is a series of large glassless windows pierced on three sides by doorways. The cloister would have been used for exercise especially in bad weather and so the path under its roof is broad and easy to walk on. In the north passage partly concealed by a failing invisibility spell is a wooden box. If the standing stones in the centre of the garth had been sealed in the past as the abbot had said they are no longer and in the centre of them is a stange looking device the like of which you have never seen before.

[OOC] I agree with aridale. You (Laurie) shouldn't made decisions for all of us; my character too wasn't going to accept levitating that easely.[OOC]

Ilutivar wasn't very happy with the levitating idea - he could barely walk on the ground and it was even worse in the air. He also wanted to kill atleast one demon, but now they might not see any of them anymore. Let them worry;they haven't seen my Deadraslayer jet. The air was fresh, but it was very dark and creepy. Ilutivar was worried - the monastery didn't look that good. He waited for other oppinion before he was going to express his.

Tiramir fumed with renewed fury, as he saw the trepidation in his companion’s eyes. Shall a fear of heights render useless our plans before we even meet the Daedra in battle? Continuing to glide forward, he calls to his companions, "We should descend from directly above the Garth, whilst barraging the fiends with all forms of missiles - this will put them under the greatest possible pressure." He attempts to cast a shield on Darak and Lui, as he takes his position directly above the courtyard below. The delicate words of magic are pushed from his lips, and crackling lighting begins to extend from his fingers as he seeks out the most dangerous of foes beneath.

Crimson works his way to the top of wall swiftly and stands over looking the grounds. "...well I guess that answered that question... not a soul..." he says in answer to his own question. He quickly glances around everywhere he can see and notices a semi transparent box and most notably a strange device he couldnt even begin to describe out among what he understood to be the cursed stones the abbot had spoke of.

"...hmmm..."

Darak completed his chameleon spell just a moment after Tiramir had cast the shield on him.
Now he was one with the shadows that loomed in the coutyard.
He whispered to his companions: "I'll go scout the church. In the meanwhile you can take care of the box and that strange mechanism. If I need any help I will call you"
If someone was about to reply, Darak didn't give him the chance, adding simply: "You'll notice."
Then he departed.

He had not been honest with the rest of the group. He told them he could fool the demons' sight and hearing, but he knew some of them could sense his presence simply because he was alive: they were able to perceive the aura of the living. In the course of his past adventures, he had learned how to conceal it somehow, but he knew it could not help against powerful creatures like dremora lords or such.

Enough with thinking! Now it was time for action.

He approached the church in utter silence, sword in hand. One of the doorways swinging open gave him way to the gloomy aisles. His eyes darted from side to side, trying to spot the minimum movement or sign of daedras' presence.

[OOC: if anything pops up and attacks him, Darak has a simple flare spell (like a minor fireball of destruction school) ready, to toss outside the windows like a signal rocket]
