I've had no joy from using dazip files. They suck!

Thank you, I've been waiting for something like this. At one point my character had to choose between Alistair & Zevran. He picked Zevran :) and now Alistair is just friendly, no option for romance anymore. Do you think your mod can fix it after they broke up ? Will try it anyway and will let you know.

Yapi75 - try getting Reroll Rings. There's an item in there called Love Potion no 9 which I think you might be interested in.

Any chance of the Source for the script, or at least a few hints on how you scripted this? I know you said it unsets the flags of the others when one talks to the character, but can't for the life of me figure out how you capture that event. It could be useful for quite a few things.

Either way, great mod, been trying to work on the same problem from a different tactic, hence the interest. Though yours is much more to the point, so kudos.

Anyway to get this in a format other them dazip? I don't have anything that will handle these file types.

Never mind after searching google and a few forums learned about the DA content updater.

@xatmos : dazip can't be uninstalled (you just can uncheck them but they still remain), deleting a file in the override folder is a welcomed security in case of conflict or any glitch

can I use the file you posted as "source" in my override or can you release your work in such a format ?

thanks

PS : the same for the reroll rings would be a blessing ;-)

This mod and my other mods do not overwrite, modify, or amend any vanilla game files. Unchecking this mod in Downloaded Content DOES disable it completely. There is no possibility of lingering incompatibilities due to the files remaining. However, if the presence of the files disturbs you, they can be simply deleted from the AddIns folder, exactly as they might be from the override folder. I see no reason not to use dazips for my mods and only added inconvenience in avoiding them. Other modders may choose otherwise depending on the requirements of their own mods. Anyone stating that dazips are universally evil or some such thing is spouting uninformed nonsense.
