Hi I am quite an adept modeler using 3ds max, I will have a look at blender and see how easy it is to use. I dont know if it will be possible to have a script for 3ds max as well. I am really interested in doing hoods for mages so they look good. I dont do half-assed jobs so if I can get support form you I can get to work asap. using messenger or skype will probably be the easiest and fastest way.

I would surely like to download this tool and start using it as soon as possible - but, somehow, there is no file for download at the bioware social network mirror. Just wanted to know if it's going to be there anytime soon.

This is pretty neat. I tried some quick body imports with the beta from Fallout 3 to Blender and from Blender to DA, and it seems to working quite excellently.
Now all we need is someone to import the various body replacers from Fallout 3 to DA.

hey man keep up the good work. This is gonna prove to be a major milestone for modding the game.
I'm currently trying it out, I was able to extract msh files, however using the import tool seems to be a very long process. It blasts thru faces, vertexs, etc but when it gets to bones it just seems to hang there for a long time. I'm not sure if its locking up or its just supposed to take that long. So I'm stilling waiting to see if the import will complete.
PS actually now I see. Its erroring out when its gets to add bones. I'm not sure why. I'm using blender 2.49b and python 2.6. It should be working but I don't know
