The concept of the maximum inventory slots being hardcoded to 125 "after" you add a new backpack seems like an odd choice to me. Why not simply just make it a variable that adds another 10?

Well, at least there is a utility out there that will edit your saved game to change the maximum inventory slots. But be warned, if you purchase any more backpacks, the limit will be reset back to 125. Again, odd, but that's what happens.

For ultra realism, I would advise simply purchasing backpacks from 70 to 120, and then from there on, everytime you purchase a new backpack (either from a mod or somehwere else) edit the saved game to add the correct amount of slots.

In the case of 120, a new backpack would add +10 so it would be 130 and so on.

There is one step missing in this procedure: back up your savegame.das file so that if you mess up you still have a copy of the undamaged file.

It's unfortunate that BioWare took the hardcoded tack on the inventory limit. Ordinarily they seem professional but occasionally they pull an amateurish stunt like this, making it harder for the mod community to make changes.

In response to post #1441755.

Ok, so a reply to a 5 year old thread isn't really worth much, but i thought i should point out that the offset figures are wrong.

the offset value 2658 and 2659 are incorrect.

the actual offset are 2 rows below at 2678 and 2679.
