I terminally hate my username. blakFYR is the name I went by back in high school. Since then I've done a lot of growing up, and not go by notMateo. Unfortunately, Nexus has disabled IP Boards name changing by the users. This name literally makes me want to disassociate with any website I still have with it. I literally *can't* use this website personally with this username.

 

I was wondering if there was a process to changing names through admins, since I know they have the ability to. I want to get into modding very soon, but not with a blemish as big as my name.

Changing names is not a simple process and so we discourage it. It takes an administrator to do it and involves quite a bit of work. There are a LOT of things tied to your user name on the sites and all of them must be changed to the new name.

 

The easiest way is to go here http://forums.nexusm...0#entry14346878 and ask to have your account closed for the purpose of opening a new one - You lose everything that is associated with your old account, but are able to make a new one right away.

Mm. I understand. After all this is kinda a two part website. Three if you count NMM, tbh. 

That would actually explain the option to change names being unavailable through IPBoard.
