For those who are encountering problem. Pls! read the instruction properly.

DO NOT INSTALL it via Nexus MOD Manager.. It clearly stated that you should install it using DAUPDATER
(you can find it on the Dragon Age installation folder.)

if you are having difficulty breaking some chest then you may adjust the setting on the ini. Like...

BashNoRequirements=1
BashItemBreakChance=NONE
BashDifficulty=EASY

Works perfectly, thanks. I dislike making rogues in DAO, so I always found it especially annoying during early parts of the game when I don't have one and there are several chests around that I have to leave.

I installed it using DAO Mod Manager installed both files by dropping the dazip files into the dazip folders like counltess other mods. Both mods (the origins and the awakening version) listed in the BioWare/DragonAge/addins folder as well as both .erf files are in the packages/core/data folders. I copied the .ini lines as directed in the install instructions. When in game however bashing does not work. Here are my settings....

Well I just watched my warrior bash a chest. It shocked me because I didn't think the mod was working lol

For everyone saying this mod does not work try reading install instructions. nexus manager will NOT work. DAO modmanager will work so long as you take the time to set it up right. try getting http://www.nexusmods...nage/mods/939/? and read how to set it up.
