nice cheating... You might as well make a mod to "instant win" the game.

I'd like to see a toned down version of this. There aren't enough good staffs in the game (to purchase and otherwise). That winter's breath, or whatever seems very high-priced at the merchant for what it does.
How 'bout a +1 mana regen, +7 spellpower, and maybe 10% on the element(s) damage.

You know I was starting to think that the staff was little overpowering, I'll tone it down as you said.
Thanks for your input.

No offense but I don't understand why people bother putting their "items" on this website, using the Winter Forge mod
http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=122
players can create any armor or weapon with their own stats IN game.
Sorry I am just tired of seeing all these novince posts people call mods, unless its a custom skin or retextured sets its not even worth downloading.
Again sorry for the rant.
ps: Oh and the point of playing on nightmare is to make the game challenging your staff does nothing to increase hit rate which seemed to be your primary concern

No offense, but I don't get why people rant about mods on this site. If you want to leave a comment make it something about the mod - yes, mod - b/c by my def anything that "modifies" the game is a mod.
if you have a problem with this mod, take it up with the nexus, don't use bandwidth on the comment, b/c the other 137 people who downloaded this mod don't happen to agree with you.
if people don't like the mod they won't download it...leave it at that.
ps: I'm just tired of people who have never uploaded anything have opinion and you know what they say bout opinions.

I uploaded this mod because I realized that decent staves in Dragon age are hard to find. Most of the bosses or merchants drop/sell everything, but staves. It's probably because the mages are already powerful, I'm not sure, I just hoped the players would find this staff helpful in difficult battles.
I'm sorry if my mod takes the fun out of the game, I totally didn't mean that lol

csguak, my whole point was, let the people decide - if people like it, they will download it - if they don't, well, they won't, but don't take it down b/c of one comment. if he/she has good criticism, update the mod, if you can, but if not, don't worry about it.
look, this game is fun enough by itself and if you, or any others, want to add content, sobeit, add it - this is what biowar intended.

Nice idea but what i hoped for when i checked was a staff which replicates the dragonbreath attack of highdragon.
