My game won't save more than 1 character, although it appears to have multiple autosave files for one at a time.

Anytime i start a new one the old ones seam to just disappear. Is this just me? Is there a glitch in the game? Am i doing something wrong? Is there a way to have multi saves? My sister took a liking to the game and I'd really rather like to give it a try on my own but she has gotten far enough for a 9mb save file... I don't think she'd be happy if i accidentally overwrote her save. SO im lookin for solution before i start something out here.

There's a button at the bottom of the load screen that says "switch character" or something similar. Try pressing it.

after you click switch character there's a list of all the characters you've made and you select one and your saves from that character will come up
