wow, thank you so much!
i've been waiting for lady of the forest hairstyle! :)
but it looks weird when i equip heavy armor... her back armor is crashing? (or whatever it's called) with the long hair...
can you edit it? maybe short hair on the back but the front stay the same or maybe better...
Thanks again, I like ren03a hairstyle best for now! :D
Looking forward for your next update!

Yep, this is wonderful.

To expand on the author's and Berelinde's comment of making this compatible with other Character Creater screen files (CC Tints, Chargen, and/or Pineapple), first you need to add the extra options so that they have all the options of all four available. The only additions you need to make from this file to have the hairstyles available are to scroll down to <hairs> then <human_female> and add the 14 there, then to <elf_female> and add the two there if they are not already there. Finally, make sure you only have 1 "chargenmorphcfg.xml" file in your override folder, check the subfolders.

If any more hairstyles, or new tints, or etc are added, you juts have to hunt down their names and add them as resources.

I probably could have just uploaded the file in less time than typing this! Anyway thanks to the mod author again for your work.

Great mod...but...
Always a 'but,' huh?
I made a human mage with the long hair in front ponytail. I do not know if a fix would conflict with other body models but the hair in front is floating too far out in front of her and not really laying down on her chest at all. I figure with movement this probably can't be made perfect but can you move it in at all to make it look more real in normal stance.

Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more. Not many seem gutsy enough to try hair styles. Dwarves need more beards btw :)

There is a way to change my character hair after start the game? I search in the net and bioware forum but no one can explain correctly.
You said something about character editor! what is that?

You can use the toolset to edit your character or NPCs.
Here's a link explaining how to edit the PC : http://social.biowar...115064/6#466235
Editing your NPCs is easier, extract their morph files with the toolset (in face.erf, look for hf_genfl_*name*.mor or hm_genfl_*name*.mor), place the extracted file in Override, load them in the toolset and change away. The hair is in MORPH_PARTS string 2. All hair names are in chargenmorphcfg.xml, section <hairs>, in the order they appear in the character creator.

I wish people would start creating more original hairstyles for these games. I never cared for these things in Oblivion... then they ended up in Fallout, now Dragon Age? No offense to the guy who ported them but I think these things are a bit overused...

True, they are used a lot, but I didn't see that many hairstyles models for games that looked as good as these, which makes it hard to do them justice with my limited skills in 3D modeling and texturing.

Having problems getting this to work with Pineapples's PTs_Vibrant_Colors_1_31-153 pack. Really do like the look of the styles though so will be tracking this and looking forward to the minor problem to be resolved :D
Keep up the good work.
Out of interest how much work would moving hair take to impliment?

berelinde was nice enough to upload a compatibility patch for pineappletree's mod and a few others, I put it in the download section. Moving hair is possible, it does already move a little but I would need the skeleton to do it properly. As far as I know, it can't be imported into Blender ... yet. If there's some cloak bones (as in NWN2) it's quite easy, otherwise it will require new animations which is far beyond my abilities.

I haven't tested any of the hairstyles with heavy or massive armor, I'll look into it.

Some more hairs for male would be nice also. They always get forgotten in the female rush.

great mod thanx so much, the Pineappletree patch work, all you need is to remove the xml from the Pineappletree's folder and there you go.
