Great mod...but...
Always a 'but,' huh?
I made a human mage with the long hair in front ponytail. I do not know if a fix would conflict with other body models but the hair in front is floating too far out in front of her and not really laying down on her chest at all. I figure with movement this probably can't be made perfect but can you move it in at all to make it look more real in normal stance.
I decided to cut the front hair with this model, as it's impossible to place properly without hair physics. As you guessed, if I made them closer to the body they would conflict with medium/heavy armor. I'll post the updated hairstyle (ren01) later this evening.
Some more hairs for male would be nice also. They always get forgotten in the female rush.
I'm no artist, and while I can work my way around Blender to edit existing models, I don't think I have the patience to start one from scratch. If you know of any good looking male hairstyle, and its model can be imported in Blender, I'd be happy to add it. For now I'll make the ones currently included available for men as well when I feel the base model is completed.
Are you also going to make the warden's hair?Yhat would be awesome!thnx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know of this "warden's" hair ? Is it already in the game ?
@The Wicked: for now, you can't. Unless you feel like firing up Blender and adding the elven model yourself

Sorry for bothering you, but couldnt you use the exact same files for the other races? After all, the heads dont differ so much, at least between elves and humans.hairstyles are limited to human females for now because of the way the game manages them. Each of the three races, and each specific gender needs a different model that has to be placed and scaled differently (instead of the engine doing it itself), and I won't do it unless the starting model is good from the start : modifying 9 files to update 1 model is too time consuming. I included two hairstyles for elves though.

@witchthief: you probably have another mod that changes the character creator. If so, you'll need to update your "chargenmorphcfg.xml" file (explanations are on this thread)
@Ryuuichi009: wait a while, the servers need time to synchronise the files. Try again in a few minutes.
