Add me to the list of people with problems with this mod. Wish it worked for me; what I've seen so far is really cool, but it makes my game unplayable.

My install sequence was to grab 1.4, install it, modify my ini file for the vendor sales values I wanted (.75 value, 1.2 markup), then run the game. I got the black box problem reported by others here. At that point I installed the 1.41 version with the same results, then installed the 1.2 version. I did not uninstall anything at any stage. The 1.2 version worked great, except that some of the objects (stone armor, dog armor, runes) appeared to be under the floor. Next I ported out, and noticed that Oghren was missing his boots and armor. I loaded an older save and got the same thing. As I wasn't sure what the last patch I had applied was I dl'd 1.02a and applied it. This did not help. I loaded 1.4 again and Oghren was still naked, and I still had the black box problem. I went back to 1.2 and gave Oghren some other gear, and proceeded to play. However, next time I ported into the pocket dimension and back out the lights had gone out in Caridin's Cross! Porting back to the pocket and back out gave me the same issue.

At this point I have installed DAModder and used it to uninstall your mod, and reloaded a save before I ported into the pocket. Oghren's armor and boots are back (they were gone in this save previously).

Sorry for the wall of text, but I thought maybe a sequence of events would give you a clue as to what the problem was. BTW, I am also running Advanced Tactics 2.6, Respec Addon 1.6, Selling to Merchants, and tal_storage_chest 1.0.

Hope you can figure out these issues. I'd love to use your mod! )

@shaynecameron: Are you running the latest patch? 1.02

@grallon: Prob the mod wasn't installed? Check your DLC list in the game... and make sure you have the latest patch!

and read the entry about enabling logging to check what's happening...

Nikivich, I did my final testing with patch 1.02a installed. Going to read the other thread now and I'll let you know how it works over there.

look forward to testing out the update version with optional NPC to our needs : )

oh yea, if you want testers, there should be allot to help out before releasing a brand new version <3

Yeah as more people are starting to use this thing it might indeed be a good idea to have it tested on several configurations... :)

I'll prob post a tester request before the next release...

Since this is a very hard issue (we can't seem to find the cause) the more of you that help me out in that thread, the more info we might get of to why/when this is happening.. thanks in advance

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Good news, I think I solved the "black area" bug some of you were experiencing.
However I can not test this fix since I can not reliably reproduce the issue. (See here for more explanation )

So: Everybody with the "black area" issue, please install "Innodil Pocket Plane v1.4.2 beta"

Also, please let me know in this thread if this solved the issue for you. Thanks!

This looks like a great mod, and I want to use it. I just read the entire thread in the forum, and have a question that others may well have.

I just got DA Origins for Christmas, and am about to start playing. Being a mod fan from playing Oblivion for years, I joined this forum an began checking the field for good mods.

I'm ready to load the game, and have DL the 1.02a patch. That's my first move, getting some DLC add-ons will be second. When should I load your mod? After a few saves? Should I use the DAModder program to install it? I am used to OBMM for Oblivion but still have to learn this new one.

Thanks for all your conscientious effort to make this mod work well for everyone.

PS I noticed that one guy with a problem had a mod called Selling to Merchants (something like that). Your mod allows selling to a merchant. Could it be that mods that do the same thing are conflicting?

Thanks, waiting for the fixed 1.5 version.

i wonder if You could possibly add weriKK's 'Character Respecialization' raven to your Pocket Plane? it would be even better, i think

i have no idea about modding, but im pretty sure that's fairly easy to make (in co-operation with weriKK :) ), so if You have some spare time please consider my suggestion

Great mod!


Except that after accessing it first in Lothering - before entering the regular party camp - and while using the Winter Forge mod - I could not exit Lothering... Whenever I click on the exit area I get nothing...

@grallon: I don't do anything in my mod "on exit" of an area

@gaganamurdha: that might be indeed simple or it may be impossible depending on how the author scripted his mod... First effort is integrating The WInterForge mod... Please post your suggestion on tab "Discussions" -> "Thread suggestions".
=> Why don't you ask the creature resource name (*.utc) and tag from the author and add it as an extension to the plane? (see Extension Package optional download)

@Divine Avenger7: The 1.4.2 will be the fixed one :) USe DAmodder to install and the order of installation doesn't matter. Just be careful with "manual installation" mods that let you put stuff in /packages/core/override etc... (except new/retextured models) cause they can screw up lots of other stuff.
I don't know the mod "selling to merchant" but I doubt it's doing the same thing :) ANyway, 1.4.2 is working for him and that other mod. But yes, mods that do the same thing can likely conflict (especially if they change attributes/properties/skills/...)
