Solved uninstalling Python 2.5 and installed 2.7.5 !! THX 4 UR TOOL !!!

This excellent mod has allowed me to finally create the characters I want. I was going mental trying to use the toolset!

The program opens fine, recognizes the character name and .das file BUT when I use the Set As Source function I receive this error message in the Python (version 2.7) command box -

IndexError: list index out of range

There is some kind of error in how the program is reading and turning the info in line 420. I don't have enough experience to know how to go about fixing this. <grrr> Has anyone encounter this problem and found a 'fix'? If not, is there another DA Face Replacer program available for use?

I imported a human female face into a elf female. No errors at all, but the head it's separted from the body. Really freaky

I imagine its' becase elfs and humans models do not have the same height. Any way of fixing this ?

okie for all of you who are experiencing problems with this epic mod i would like to share some info.

i can think of 2 problems that can cause this mod to stop working

1) wrong version of python installed OR something similar to this ( READ the description clearly)
2) other mods could be conflicting

i had the problem where it said something like " Error.... too long"
this was caused by the extra dog mod

i wanted to swap my main save character face with another save character which i made using character creator.
however i kept getting the " Error.... too long"
i checked if i could swap the face with previous saves of my main character. finally there was one save which let me swap the face without any error

NOTE : to see if there is any error when you set the destination check the black screen of python it tells you if there is any error

i used that save to see which mods i had at that time and i realized that i didnt have the dog then. so i uninstalled the dog and tried to swap faces in the latest save and it worked



things to look for

check the version of python and DAFR installed ( read description)

uninstall dog mod or make sure dog is not in the party as 5th member nor any bear or wolf from ranger as 5th/6th member.

check if the older saves let you swap faces

make sure you have all the hair, face and makeup mods that are required for the morph to work.
