Isn't weird how Sten looks way too different then his CG counter part here is an example

It seems like they made him to young so they decided to make him look old.

What you guys think was it a good idea? And also why the big change?

Perhaps just a coincidence, made by shadows and light (top photo).
I have never seen him like this.
In my playthroughs he has allways looked medium aged (bottom photo)

Not so sure about that if you look closely CGI Sten has eyebrows and a beard while the ingame Sten doesn't and plenty of other noticeable difference. Its like comparing two different characters because of the huge differences between the two. All I want to know is why the big change in character design.

Where can I see these CGs? I saw plenty of stills, but is there a computer generated movie?

Many things got changed from the trailer, like Morrigan's outfit and Leliana's race (aparently she was ment 2 be an elf), that just happens sadly. There are a few mods out there that make him look like this though, check on the mod site.
