glad this is worked on
watch out not to be eaten alive by all those features you are planning
-as a matter of fact, might i suggest being able to toggle much of these features in mod options

-also, i'd watch out not to overpower vamps, and i don't quite agree with the whole sun doesnt kill you thing, as that really sets apart vampire character experience from non vamp character in vanilla (hope it can be turned off in options).
Would be cool if we got some extreme weakened attributes and pain effects in the 3 days of becoming a vampire (its not supposed to be like an egg timer - ring ring youre a vampire)

Many features are toggleable and/or customizable, and I can easily add new settings, if you ask.
Sun is much more dangerous for vampires in VR since, in the worst conditions, the damage per second can reach values like 30 and above! And it can be turned off, if you like!
During the 3 days, the vampire disease become worse, with attributes drain and slowdown magicka and fatigue regeneration.
You'll get similar effects (even worse) when starving, and they get worse as your blood pool drain.

I have some Ideas for you: Note - It is up to you whether or not you want to put them in the mod.

Vampire Decapitation - Decapitation of vampires kills them instantly: Note - May require Deadly reflex.
Replacing Church Scripts - Replacing the "Unable to enter churches at all" with a "sanctified ring of protection around the church". Tip - some times vampires will dig holes into the church to bypass the ring of protection. (Could be useful for Vampire Revolution Part 2)
Different Vampire Types - Instead of having the default every vampire is the same routine, you could Improve on this by adding different types of Vampires in the world.
Vampire Cure Quest Extended and Improved - You could improve and extend the "VC" Quest by adding different side quests to do in-between the quests - Adding a choice at the end of the quest to choose either the EVIL ENDING or the GOOD ENDING.
Count Hasildor of skingrad Living quarters Overhaul - Making the Castle of Skingrad more like a vampires lair, instead of having just another color themed count castle.
Vampirism Quest Unavailability - Make the game more realistic by making the Knights of the Nine Quest-line and the Order of the Virtuous Blood Quest-line unavailable if your a vampire. (It would make more sense if it was that way anyways)
Vampire Hunger Effects - Making it so if you go too long without feeding you get some really nasty blood hunger effects.
New Vampire Spells and Vampire Magicka System - Becoming a vampire has mutated the magicka within you, adding new vampire spells that can only be cast by vampires.
A Vampires True Form and Vampire Bestiality - Being a vampire comes with some Pros and Cons; you now have this vampiric beast inside your mind and body, if you don't make it happy by feeding regularly and keeping the little humanity you have left in you, you will go insane and the beast will take over. (This adds a more realistic approach to vampirism, making the disease feel like one instead of you feeding anytime you want.) Being a vampire comes with some really nice Pros too; You are now immune to all diseases and poisons. Sense vampires don't need to breathe, you can go under water for as long as you want and never drown just like argonians have the Waterbreathing. If you are Powerful enough you can turn into the vampires true form as a Greater Power for once a day.
Vampire Light Spells - It seems silly that if you cast a light spell on yourself you get damaged so there is another option. . . vampires have there own version of light spells and will never get damaged by them.

If you like these ideas please respond. I may come up with more ideas soon. . .

Hey i downloaded VR and my vampire is 56 days old with 1800 blood pool, but it still says i'm a level 1 vampire what do i do?

You need to feed to increase the level, did you read the readme?

Don't know how you made up to 56 days without a single level-up, since you need to feed often at low ages and you should expect the first level-up after 25 bites. Do you use the wait/sleep menu very often or do you installed VR with an existing vampire? (Don't worry, it should be fine to start with an existing vampire)

Vampire Decapitation - Decapitation is not on my todo list, and I don't want to rely on other mods, especially if bugged and abandoned.

Replacing Church Scripts - Actually you can enter in chapels, but you suffer holy damage, since it's an holy place, no matter the entrance!

Different Vampire Types - I can do something this, but if you're talking about vampire graphic/aspect I have to surrender: I'm a good with scripts, but not so good with graphic...

Vampire Cure Quest Extended and Improved - You can expect this in VR Part 2

Count Hasildor of skingrad Living quarters Overhaul - The count must mask his identity and nobody (apart from the mage guild) should know he's a vampire. Making his castle or living quarters a vampire lair is not a good idea to mask his identity! I can add a secret room in his bedroom with a little lair, or even link his room with the vampire dungeon nearby. I'll see.

Vampirism Quest Unavailability - I won't do that. I want to extend the game by adding new quests and things to do, not put limitations!

Vampire Hunger Effects - ... it already works this way! When your blood pool is about less than 40-50% you'll start suffering from few negative effects, and as the blood decrease these effects become worse. At 0 blood you start suffering from health damage and eventually die in 10 minutes if you don't feed again. I can add random blurred visions while starving, if you want.

New Vampire Spells and Vampire Magicka System - There are powers for this! Maybe you want an indestructible war machine, but I can't unbalance the game too much in favour of vampires! The new update will add stakes not only because it's cool, but also because it balance the human side of the world!

A Vampires True Form and Vampire Bestiality - Cons: you're right, this part need to be balanced. Actually vampires only get benefits and few vulnerability but there are no real bad aspects. Coffins are planned, getting mad could be an option... Pros: vampire already have everything you said! Vampire true form is something I will add in VR Part 2.

Vampire Light Spells - This is more difficult. If you don't want to use torches or the vampire hunter's sight, you need to use OBME to create a separate Light effect for vampires only.

Different Vampire Types - By this I mean clans of vampires that have unique abilities that are inaccessible to the player, such as scripted cutscene instant death cheese spells. The clans have special npc powers, ablilities and spells that are unique to the nature of there personality and general class.

Vampire Quest Unavailability - Ignore this idea. . .

Vampire Hunger Effects - Ignore this too. . .

*New Idea* Special Vampire Classes and Birthsigns - Special classes and birthsigns that you can only get when your a vampire. (you can use scripts to make a special class and birthsign menu show up or you can add a spell or lesser power that makes a popup menu appear just like the configuration menu you created) once you pick a Vampire birthsign and class you can make a menu in your ingame menu that shows what class and birthsign you chose. You can do the same thing with Vampire Hunters so it is balanced.

*New Idea* Optional Alternate Start Plugin - Because the current mods that add vampire alternate starts are incompatible with your mod.

As for everything else. . . just go with what you think is best.

Different Vampire Types - Clans will be added in VR Part 2, and unique abilities, powers, and equipments. This also means that some special powers will be unique to a clan/rank, and will not unlock with age and/or level like the normal vampire powers.

Special Vampire Classes and Birthsigns - Changing the player's class or birthtsign is bugged in Oblivion: it reset all attributes and skills and remove all abilities and factions. I can add a parallel "vampire birthisign" system, but I can't touch the vanilla class and birthisign.

Optional Alternate Start Plugin - Incompatible? Are you sure? I can take a look at that, but if Alternate Start use the vanilla vampires VR should handle it just fine. What problems is causing?

In Vampire Alternate Start there is a bug if you load a saved game with that "AS" active where the age resets to the default age vanilla oblivion has. It doesn't do anything to your mod it just resets the age of your character when you load a saved game. . . Vampire Aging fix mods don't help either. The only way you can edit your age is by going into the construction set yourself and changing the age of your character.
