Great Idea, I always thought Oblivion looked a bit too cheerful. It would also be great if you effect the draw distance, this way it really wants to you to stop and make camp least you bump into something... nasty.

I tried playing with this mod, but it was simply awful! As soon as I entered any interior cell, Oblivion instantly returned to cartoon brightness again
It seems to make all bright areas seem even brighter!
At least, I think it just makes them seem brighter. For some reason, my nord's fists are now completely white during the day. I'm not sure if it was always like this, though, but I've noticed it after running this mod.
Anyway, keep up the good work. The darkness outside is great, but now we need all interiors darker

Hmm, I retested and I can't seem to recreate this problem. Is u'r gamma slider in default/middle setting? The only other reason I can think of is it might be conflicting with another mod u'r using.

Nice mod TESO. I've been using your darker dungeons mod since last night and I'm loving it
I'm going to try out this one and I expect the same

I didn't notice it either. I did, however find that the inside cells of cities was brighter but nothing that would make me stop and cry.
I am curious is it tough to make a script that effects the draw distance during the night? As stated before it would really add to the realism and experiance level of the game if you could.

The cities are a bit brighter but I figured since they're cities they would be brightly lit anyway. I'm actually thinking about putting those bright torches on Imperial City's tower to all cities so that way it they can be seen brightly from anywhere, making them a beacon in the dark.
As for the draw distance, there is no script that I found to reduce draw distance. The only one that I know of is an entry in the .ini file the moves drawfade closer or farther.

Too bad about the draw distance, but the torches now. That would be pretty cool to see.
