Omg this is the third time I'm posting this thread... since the two previous ones didn't get answers I'm changing the question a little:

Is there ANY way to avoid getting all those zillion error messages when I for example disable the atmospheric sound effects plugin?

The problem was that (propably) it was causing strange slowdowns in some areas.

I can't press "yes" to the error messages because I think they began to loop and eventually the game crashes if I press yes about five hundred times :P

Guest_crazyboy that worked except...

As I thought, the game went to a loop. It says something about a couple of scripts if I don't press yes to all, if I press, the game hangs and crashes my computer :/

Seems to me that you can't stop using atmospheric sound effects once activated :/

Anyway, the main problem was that in certain areas, for example near Seyda Neen's swamps, the game goes about 0,1fps :/ Some swampsounds start playing when it does that slowdown thing, have no idea what else could it be than atmospheric sound effects. :/ (Sound card settings and other hardware and software are ok.) Already tried reinstalling Morrowind in a just defragmented HDD but didn't help.

GameFile0=Morrowind.esm
GameFile1=100ProjectileStoreChance.esp
GameFile2=GIANTS.esp
GameFile3=Master_List.esp
GameFile4=newarrows.esp
GameFile5=Passive_Healthy_Wildlife.esp
GameFile6=Persuasion Response Expansion v3.esp
GameFile7=Questfix-1.2.esp
GameFile8=RealSignposts.esp
GameFile9=super_adventurers302.esp
GameFile10=time_2x.esp
GameFile11=Wakim's Game Improvement 9.esp
GameFile12=AtmosphericSoundEffects-2.0-NonTribunal.esp

Those are current mods in use, Master_List is created with List Merger so it should kill all the conflicts. (Actually atmospheric sound effects didn't even have conflicts.)

Weird, huh :/

The leveled list merger tool only removes conflicts from your leveled lists. The reason you don't see a leveled list conflict with ASE is because it doesn't use leveled lists. If you want to examine conflicts other than those in your leveled list you need a program such as TESCD. You can use this program to check all your plugins against each other or one plugin against all the rest. You will find a very large number of conflicts between Wakim's and Adventurers alone. You can find the Conflict Detector here:

http://home.covad.ne...wind/tespcd.htm

There are several other CPU-intensive mods on your list, such as Giants, marksman, time_2x and (I would guess) Adventurers that are contributing to your slowdowns, so it's probably unfair to blame it all on ASE.

Hmm. Well Panther , If youre using bloodmoon s well, are you aware of te latest update for ase? it fixes a few issues. You may want to chek it out and see if it helps.
heres the link
http://home.wi.rr.com/cairnterrier/

Also super adventurers slows down youre fps too, but the new tc adventurers beta seems much better, not as many npcs, seems a lot faster
you can get that here

Not using Bloodmoon or Tribunal.

I started a new game without adv. plugin, it didn't have slowdowns. Then I saved and activated adv. plugin, no slowdowns. Strange... :/ Quess it creates some sort of thingies when starting the game.

Or it might be the ASE. Or it might be just that specific game. (Well, I am not going to start another character at this moment.. :P)

PS. Fileplanet "rocks" again... (file not found) Have to check it someday.

"Panther,
chris.hanusch has sent you this email from
http://www.modlibrar...forum/index.php.
Du musst Morrowind neu installieren oder versuchs einfach mit DirectX9."

I assume I got that email because of this thread...

Wtf? :P "(Sound card settings and other hardware and software are ok.) Already tried reinstalling Morrowind in a just defragmented HDD but didn't help."
That's what I said. And I mean it! (It means, I have the latest DX, I have the most stable 4in1 and Detonator blaa blaa...)

i noticed that with that particular patch the game seems to get a lot slower and the crashes are more frequent. kinda dissappointing since the sounds are so good but as soon as i unistalled it the fps went up and the amount of crashes went down. also, try sound enhancement, that mod replaces the sounds directly and doesn't lag the game nearly as much, though they aren't as good as the other mod it's still better than nothing. the weather sounds are fun cause there are multiple sound files you can mess around with. makes thunderstorms much louder...to the point that it is hard to hear people talking to you.
